Exhausted!

There are many people on this forum who have more than one dog............. how do you cope?

I looked after new grandpuppy yesterday, 12 week old border terrier, there is some pics on the pet thread, I'm still blummin exhausted today

I had to save him from fat cat, she really wasn't impressed and old grumpy dog was looking at him as if to say 'dinner'

He is an adorable little scamp, but hard work! He needs to come for a couple of more 'visits' before we have him all weekend in a couple of weeks Suppose I may lose some weight, didn't even have time for a coffee

I have bought our own cage for him, if things get too difficult I think I'll just lock myself in it with my LT

A dog flap on the garden door so they can make their toilet when needs must & a neighbour who loves walking means I really don't need to stir me stumps much:D

Pre toilet training wasn't much fun though.

I had to lock the cat flap so as he couldn't escape near the road! I left the patio door open into the front, it rained all afternoon so pup just ran out and in back and forward all afternoon, stopping briefly to run under the coffee table and pee on the rug!

He was a very clever pup and pooed outside though! Old dog looked rather disgusted that pup was rewarded with choc drop for doing this!

It's pretty easy once you get into a routine.

My friend's rotty had 11 pups. She & hubby had to go away for a weekend so both sets of parents were brought in to puppy sit. The feeding schedule took up 2 walls! I don't think the human parents ever recovered.

The rehoming vetting would have made the most assiduous social worker blanch;D

I've got 10 dogs and a new litter of 6 puppies 1 cat and 3 kids and I don't mind saying am shattered most days lol

Aww, dogs are great company. They never complain, they listen to all your problems, they don't judge or criticise and don't care when you look like you've been pulled through a hedge backwards or the house looks like a bomb site.
