I know it won't be long but I want it now! lol! I'm so excited, especially as it's far to cold now to stand outside and smoke!! :-) I've never felt so positive about giving up or ever been excited about it so I am hoping everything will be fine when it all arrives! Wow that's great you have been given up for so long, fingers crossed I'll be saying the same thing in a few years!! Serena

Lovely name - hope you are serene by name and serene by nature - we can do with more serenity around here because Chrissie is having to spread herself a bit thin (Only Joking, Chrissie - I'm punch drunk from being up too long.) scylla

Thank you! I'm usually quite serene, tho I'm sure some people would disagree with that! We'll see how serene and calm I am when off the cigs! :-)

Hi Serena, you will love it believe me. I smoked from age 11 for 50 years and thought I would never stop and tried everything. Trouble was that i did not want to so had made up my mind that I would die a smoker. The problem was that I had never found a more healthy alternative that would give me the same satisfaction. Since I started vaping I have become a more relaxed person as the health worries are no longer there and I can honestly say that I had no desire for a ciggy from day 2 and still have no desire. Please don't worry you are doing the right thing. There is a small learning curve to vaping and I know that there are many here who will happily answer any of your questions if you have any initial problems. Stay cool and enjoy. Ken.

Scylla, I take it the menthol flavour is the minty juice you're refferring to as that was all i could see? Thanks for the advice all, now the long wait for it to all arrive!! wOOt!!! Just to echo everyone else Serena ( what a lovely name ), any questions/queries just shout. Liberation is just around the corner!

Excellent post Ken Serena, as Ken says, there is a learning curve to getting the best out of vaping - so please don't hesitate asking for help, no matter how daft the question may seem to you.

Thanks again everyone, don't worry I'm sure I'll have lots to ask when it arrives! Exciting news...today I got my tracking info for my e-cig so hopefully it will be here by the weekend, not heard anything about the juice but then maybe they are snowed in somewhere! Sadly I'm not snowed in here, I think I'm in the only part of the country that's not been affected! But still, at least I have my e-cig to look forward to :-)

I smoked rollies and I bought a thingy called a miniciggy to use 'between fags', I like smoking and don't particularly want to give up.
However, my stock of bootleg baccy has now run out so I thought I'd go the ecig route full-time but I can't make decisions, I just want someone to tell me ' go and get xxx'
The one I've been using came with it's own supply of ready filled thingies, I quite like it but yesterday I put one of the batteries on charge and it exploded leaving lots of things with little scorch marks and the main bit set fire to a plastic carrier full of stuff - fortunately I was in the vicinity when it happened to deal with it.

Hello Jammy, good to see you here That is a bit scary to say the least that your battery exploded Where did you buy it from & how long ago? Before we tell you to "go & get xxx" Do you want to keep to a small sized e-cig or would you be happy using something a bit bigger?

Hi Chrissie, I've been meaning to join up for a while.
I got the ciggy a while ago, I was searching for something on ebay and this was one of those ads that appear at the bottom of the search pages so I bought one on the spur of the moment.
I don't really care what it looks like, or if it's bigger than the usual cigarette ( so long as I don't need a little cart to carry it around on).

Okey dokey Jammy, I think the best one to go for then would be a Tornado/rgo/riva type (all similar sized models under different names). I'll try & find the best deal going at the moment for you.
