Not got the heating on yet but a thick cardi and i took a hottie bottle to bed last night

I had to put the heating on at work though, it was too cold to expect people to sit and have a coffee and chat! Our student complained though as i refused to put the heaters on in the office! We're a skint voluntary org so i figure staff can wear extra clothes, lol

Yep, cold and wet here in the fens today, heating on now. Aaghh!! I see the suppliers are about to put there charges up again, it’s always this time of the year! I’m still paying for last winter’s bill.

I've never had the heating on, don't even know how it works. If it's really cold I wear a dressing gown or something.
But us colonials are tough.

Yes I have put mine on only on low just to take the chill off in the rooms I use, really cold last night put my fluffy bed socks on, very fetching they are.

I've had to give in and pop the heating on at low, my poor old bones were getting so sore with the cold :-[

Our heating hasn't been turned off just left to the thermostat but my mother is 83 and fairly imobile,whereas I'm sill finding it too hot probably due to my improved circulation. Dave

Same here. Although it wasn't fluffy socks, it was my fuffly PJs, very fetching they are NOT, but very effective

heating on low :-[ PJs on with a fleece, socks and sheepskin boots

don't understand it, last week was without coat, this week is with coat.

It's cold enough in this room to make me put a shirt on. Meanwhile, in the back room where I put 4" of insulation on the walls and 6" in the ceiling, I could dance around naked with no heating. Really must get on with doing the rest of the walls, it's really showing its worth so far.

Still T shirts here but there have been a couple of days I put a sweat top on,then ended up ...well sweating,looks like its staying in the twenties for at least another week
