A person from the Victorian era. www.cslions.org.uk/victorian_day.htmI've still to get my costume finished and am wondering how many layers can I wear, as I'll be outside all the time, until about 10 in the evening.

Not sure about piccies of me specifically Kenny, as I only take gargoyle inspired photo's . . . but the bloomers should help keep a few draughts out. If I don't post Saturday, you'll know I turned into an icicle!

Good luck and be snug, Perpy How nice to have a male voice choir - we had some lovely ones down in Cornwall in my youth, you can't beat 'em. scylla

Fanks Scylla I suspect I'll shall resemble a Victorian Barrel Organ by the time I've piled the layers on. It's normally a fab local event, loads of atmosphere and sets the scene for the start of Crimbo festivities a treat! The mulled wine isn't bad either.

* Busted * Damm and blast you know me too well Hanow. I shall probably start getting 'layered up' Thursday night Chris to be prepared for 6 hours outside in this weather. I'll see what I can do MM with the photo's, I'll look on it as a Bush Tucker Trial.

leave the bloomers off though I wore several pairs of bloomers tonight Dee. Am still trying to edit the truly desperately horrific pictures that a friend of mine snapped . . . . although the local paper took a couple of pics of myself and one of the other girls drapped on a steam engine thing, IF I don't resemble the back end of a tram there might be a link, or not. Meantime, was a lovely evening, about 1,000 people I reckon turned out, although the chaps say 3,000. A local animal rescue centre, had a 'stall' they bought along 2 of the most sweet minature Shetland ponies, this is Trigger . . . .

Thanks Scylla. Trigger bless him, was rescued from Lanzarote, was being kept in a dog kennel . . . . such lovely natured little ponies, my friend's Irish Wolf Hounds are considerably larger than these dear animals to give an idea of size!
