This is so embarrassing they pumped me full of gas for yesterday's op and now I can't stop exploding from both ends with absolutely NO warning, not smelly but loud and am on ward with 3 other people. Worse was.sitting up to take pills from nurse and burping in her face - obviously I turned away when I started and covered up but by then the damage was done!!!
Thought this would give some of you having a crap time lately a giggle, if it's not appreciated please remove it mods!!!

Ratfinkz hun. I have gastritis and the best things for it are acidophilus (from simply supplements) or peppermint tea.... I've been on the acidophilus about 3-4 weeks now and only one bout of gastritis despite being off the omeprazole  |

Ratfinkz, it good that the 'wind' is erm coming away! When they do this for a procedure the 'air' can rattle about your body for a number of days cause quite bad aches and pains! Don't be embarassed, the nursing staff will be very used to this happening! Hope you're starting to feel better this morning |

I'm no queen and I certainly do fart! If I'm at home they can be quite impressive but doing it in front of the other patients is really funny....I can burp talk too - say Birmingham in real burps and the alphabet in fake burps!!! When you're with people you're comfortable with there's something funny about wind I don't care how old you are!!!

Other than my mum and gran, I've never heard a women fart! And I've never farted in front of a lady either. And I'm 40! Is that freaky or what!
I just find it very, errrr offputting.
But of course ratty, your situation is different. And I hope your back up and running soon.
