Could someone please do me a favour and take a peek at this link.

You can turn the sound off because you won't be interested in what is being said, but am I right in thinking he is holding an e-cig?

I would be very grateful if someone could just verify this for me?

Absolutely yes, it's an ecig, if you freeze the frame whilst the chappie is waving it near to the camera you can see it more clearly.

I kept willing him to take a vape, rather than just using it to emphasis the points he was making.

Yep, agrees with Perpy that is an e-cig. For me the verification is the grey rounded tip.

I can now show it to someone who may be interested, without having to worry that I was mistaken.

It was the grey tip that I noticed. Unfortunately he doesn't take a puff (or should I say Have a vape!).
