hey Alan, ty for the welcome and for the link I noticed on the write up for the 510 carto deluxe it says that "It delivers great throat hit and masses of vapour so delivers a very satisfying vape" will the 1100 do the same thing?........is this due to the larger battery size?.......which is even better in the 1100 you sent me the link for...... I am a pretty heavy smoker so I really want to give myself the best chance by getting a good kit!

Throat hit depends on a few different things, the strength of the liquid ie 15mg compared to 18 or 24,the amount of PG in the liquid, say a 50/50 mix of PG VG compared to 70/30 PG/VG,what your using on the battery, carts clearos etc, without going into loads of detail, that kit will be good and the extra battery power will make a difference, the rest you will find out over time, what you personally like,as we are all different, but on this forum you can just keep asking and everyone helps, you will get loads more answers yet by people that have been at it a lot longer than me
I should mention that most vendors have discount codes at the checkout and the link I gave you has one that is "allabout"

Hello & welcome Han The Riva kit that Alan linked to in reply#1 is a better deal than the one you linked to. The 1100 mAh batteries will last far longer between recharges than the 650 ones. You will get the same 5x Boge 510 cartomisers with the Vape Escape one plus a Vision Ego clearomiser.

Hello Han, welcome to the forum. I'm using the linked Riva Kit and I'm very happy with it. It contains both cartomisers and a clearomiser so you can see which type you prefer.

thanks so much for all the welcomes, and discount codes......brilliant thanks, I am chuffed to have found this site, I went from utterly confused to much less confused in an evening reading all the threads on here! So if you had a choice between the Ego style starter kit 900mah and the Riva 1100 deluxe kit bearing in mind the Ego is very very cheap which would you choose? also as I have never used any sort of electronic cigarette before should I consider trying an e-lite type cigarette first before investing in a proper kit? Bearing in mind I am bloody determined to give normal cigarettes up (I smoke rollies at the mo and alot of them!) I am having serious gum/dental problems due to smoking my partner has given up so I am not smoking in the house or car and it's winter lol!..........smoking is not fun anymore lol!

Han almost everyone who starts on an e-lite wishes they'd gone straight to an eGo style device straight away. I'd certainly recommend missing out on that step.
