Han whilst nicotine at high concentrations is nasty stuff, in the form of e-liquid it is nothing to panic about. In fact several forum members try new juices by giving a drop of liquid a lick. Juice should still be kept away from kids and animals of course, but I'm just saying that a drop on your lips won't hurt

Oh! stop faffing about han and grab yourself a mini vivi nova simplicity, efficiency, cheap as chips. And I have tried a fair few alternatives...they simply work.

Congratulations, great start!! Just a quick tip which you may or may not be aware of. When you are Vaping, do it slowly. Press the button for a second or so, then start to suck, but SLOWLY, over three or four seconds to get your drag. If you arent doing that now you will notice a big difference in the amount of vapour produced. It is the opposite of a ciggy where you would suck harder to get a good draw. I was doing it the wrong way for two weeks (as the bishop said to the actress ;-).

Can't help with the Mini Nova question Han as I've not tried one yet But re cartomisers, yes after the initial fill, just remove the drip tip if you are using one & top up often by dripping juice into the cartomiser wadding

Where can I start on the mini nova..... it looks great on an ego, it can be easily stripped and cleaned, I got mine out of the box yesterday, and stripped and rebuilt it in under a minute, with no instructions. It's easy to fill, and the wicks draw juice really quick, I got flavour from the 1st draw. The flavour is much better than a carto from my point of view, and there is no dulling of flavour from the 1st to last vape. I have gone through 2 tanks of juice since yesterday morning, and prefer this to anything else in my small collection. It produces a good amount of vapor on a standard atty head (it comes with 3, 1x 1.8, 1x 2.4 & 1x 2.8). I have been leaving my riva laying on it's side next to me when in the house, and carrying it in my pocket all day while in the garden, and there have been no leaks, not even a drop. I decided on the mini nova due to it's 2.5ml capacity, my CE4 holds 1.6ml, which isn't quite enough for the whole day, and the full size nova holds 3.5ml, which is more than I would vape in a day. Cleaning is easy, simply strip down and rinse each part under warm water, I then dried mine off with kitchen roll and reassembled it, refilled it, and it vaped great from the 1st hit with a new flavour. I am actually thinking about getting another, as my CE4 is nearing the end As you can tell, I like my mini nova

Han, if you are like me, you will find this forum a very informative, and expensive place to come you will get so many recommendations, and advice, then go out and spend like crazy on new toys. Tho I have to say, the mini nova is my best buy so far.

Well done han,its nice to hear,I have a mixture of different devices and have tried all the visions and novas, but never write off the humble cart,I found it can still produce better with some flavours, especially when used inside a tank,I have two devices with Novas on and two with boge carts and tanks and at the moment it the boges doing the business for me.

Wot goth said about the mini nova. Do get the plynth as it makes everything look really neat, can't remember which you would need A or B, someone will be along to advise. I have both, large and small, small better for out and about. Bought from vaperstall who I believe have them at 8.99 now, a steal, with great service. I have never gotten along with carto's, it's something I am doing wrong as so many people like them. The CE'3's were a compromise for a while, a stardust cracked in the first week. I have two rebuildable bulli's I was pleased with until all the good reviews of the Vivi's started coming through on here and elsewhere. At the price I figured they were worth a punt, they are fantastic, I have not used anything else for 2 months. I have just ordered 3 more from zainey for virtually the price of one. I also love my twist which is very popular by many on here and saves me carrying my provari out of the house. I have ordered 3 more USB vv passthroughs, again, more or less 3 for the price of one if you are prepared to wait for shipping from zainey. The USB vv passthrough is another game changer as I no longer fret over having sufficient batteries charged up to go out with, in the car and at home I use the passthrough, the batteries are always charged and ready to go for when I'm away from the mains. I can't see how things can get any better but they no doubt will, and by doing your homework on here han you will miss many of the pitfalls we have all fell into to. Huge kudos to this community. vape on peeps :-)

At, gives you the option on his site as to what size plinth to buy, depending on the Vivi Nova size you've selected: Other Vendors like VE, it's the Type A for the full size Nova and Type B for the Mini: www.vapeescape.co.uk/dct-plinths~324They really do tidy up the appearance very nicely.
