im off to do a curry with my leftover turkey  I've never made turkey curry but will have to if I don't want to get bored with microwaved roast dinners  I've got curry paste - have you got a sorta recipe, Lilac? Or anyone? Thanks for the compliments, folks. When I first saw it I was horrified but it's OK now scylla Kenny.  x |

I'm fairly sure the turkey was dead already, Jerry...it'd been in the oven for a couple of hours yesterday It was a Loyd Grossman Dopiaza jar, and very tasty it was, too yumyum |

They [turkeys] are nasty creatures... Jerry, I've just been watching them on Giles and Sue Live the Good Life (which you won't know but you would love, I'm sure) and they are perfectly adorable, they let themselves be picked up and they converse (with Sue, anyway - Giles didn't have much luck but he's an urban philistine). That may be my lastest turkey ever  scylla |
