Hi, I'd say go for the Riva also, it's a great bit of kit It sure is, Lisa. The Riva is a version of the Joye eGo, which is what I use.

I think that you made a good choice, clutter. I Don't Most people started on the little batteries and managed ok, including me. But if I knew back then what I do now, I'd have went straight for the Tornado/Riva in a heartbeat. Having said that, you'll still get an introduction to E-cigarettes. Good luck.

I don't think you can go far wrong starting out on a 901 - it was the best available when some of us started out, and they don't last for ever so once you've got your feet under the vaping table you can advance to the main course in good time Blimey, what am I talking about? scylla

Well done. I have gone 4 full days without a cigarette now and think e figs are made of magic. There is so much help and support on this site that you can't go wrong. I have never managed to stop before with so little trouble. Every so often I get a craving but as soon as I a pick up the e cig it goes away. I love love love it and wish I had jumped in ages ago. I'm waiting on some more flavours of juice and then I plan to sit back and watch the money I'm saving stack up. Just have to stop myself buying one of every model :0)

I knew about e-cigs a year before I started using them. I dismissed them, thinking that they were a gimmick, some kind of a toy. I haven't smoked a cigarette in over a year, thanks to the e-cig. As far as buying every model available, I hear a lot of people say that. lol. With me, it's e-juice, I have a 1 1/2 year supply of juice in my freezer. Partly because I want to try new flavors and partly because of the problems we are having here in the states with the FDA. Jerry

The ban thing is really worrying isn't it? I will be beside myself if it ever comes in. Even after 4 days I want to stock pile like a crazy person just in case. I don't know what made me go for it this time. I think one of the big reasons was all the help and testimonials on this site. Having real people say good things about them makes it less of a gamble than just the website blurbs. And I it's reassuring to see recommendations of sellers so you don't fall victim to a scam. Internet paranoia for you.

It can be pretty addictive collecting E-cig stuff. So much that it often negates the savings over normal cigarettes. I found though, once you've found a device you love, it cancels out the need to try more (took a while ) I'd say, in nearly 1 year of giving up the fags, my outlay is one third of what I would have spent, and that's with a 6 month stockpile of E-cig stuff still in reserve.

Still a really good saving :0) I am defo doing this for the money as I hate wasting so much of my hard earned wages on fags. A huge but totally unexpected side effect is that I like gaping way more than smoking.

Well the outlay so far is less than 10 packs of cigs so I guess I can always get something else if the thingy I bought doesn't suit. Rather hoping not to need it for too long anyway. Just need some help to get over a hump at the moment.
Do they smell by the way?

They smell on the whole really nice - so lots of non-smokers tell me. Nothing like a proper fag. Thankfully.
One word of warning though - once you get hooked on E-cigarettes, its way more addictive than fags.
Cos its way more enjoyable.
I use E-cigarettes about 5x more than I used to smoke fags.
That's a good thing to me, but it's difficult convincing the uninitiated.
