Just shows that beauty is in the eye of the beholder Jerry I think it is a stunningly beautiful piece of craftsmanship Perpy, I'm so hoping MM gets on with & prefers the DSE901. Will be so much easier for her to find new & cheaper supplies

I was sincere, I really was. I'll delete the first line, just to show that I am sincere.

Hi Perpy and Chrissie. Well, yes I am up and running with the DSE901 (couple of days now). But, to be honest, I really do not find any difference to my Supermini. If you remember Chrissie, I bought the longer mouthpiece for my Super, which gives me the facility of twice as much juice in the holder. This, combined with the fluval gives a lorra lorra lot of vape!! and a good draw. I still prefer the round mouthpiece but that's because I am used to it. I find the round on the 901 is a bit loose and have to give it a squeeze when I drag. I'm using one 901 with the round and t'other with the flat. I'm sure I will get used to flats soon. Perpy, don't be disappointed 'cos I'm not. I'm sure I will get used to them in time Maybe I was expecting something different. In the meantime, I will buy spares for both!! Thank you all MM

Yes, MM, the extra large thingy you bought for your Super may mean the contrast with the Mini is not great I would save the Mini for when you can't get any more spares for your precious Super. Regarding the cart being loose - this is a damn nuisance that I've overcome by buying a battery-operated soldering iron (cheapo 'damaged packaging' from eBay), but a hot needle/pin can do the same job - get the pin as hot as poss with cig lighter or suchlike, and burn around the side of the cart nearish to the opening, to make a 'welt' in it, that should tighten it up. If you insert the cart while the welt is still soft it should give you an exact fit even if the welt was too pronounced, IYSWIM And... when you insert the cart, turn it round a few times so it doesn't get stuck. I've also had carts that are too big and then I file them around the sides wiv me crystal nail file - very carefully, cos crystal nail files last forever except when you snap them and I've had my one since they were first invented I can't tell you how many times I've modified this post trying to cover all eventualities scylla x

Good to hear you're using the DSE901 MM - I was going to start a thread asking how you were getting on, as you've been very quiet on the subject. Tbh, I wasn't expecting you to see a vast difference in performance between the Supermini & the 901, but it will be a heck of a lot easier & cheaper as Chris said to get replacement parts for the 901. I think we'd have to persuade you into a Riva or such like for a really noticeable difference in vaping . . . give me time though. Loose carts are a pest, completely agree there, I've a number that are like that and shall be trying Scylla's top tip with a hot pin on mine.

Hi Scyll - it's not the carts that are loose. When Perpy sent me the 901, she sent me some round mouthpieces as well, cos she knew I wasn't too keen on the thin ones (which are fine). It's just the round ones that are loose - in fact the round mouthpiece stayed in my lips when I took the cig out to put down!!! So I will make myself get use to the thin ones. Does this make sense - probably not!! MM

Great idea Scylla. I have one cart that is loose, I will have to try your method to enlarge it.
