I've pretty much got the hang of things now, after some setbacks.
First of all the carts that were fitted to the DSE901 didn't have any stuffing which was probably why I was getting a gob full of juice (bleurgh) and they were too loose. (So thanks for the tips Scylla).
Then one of the batteries made the atty so hot the juice bubbled up and out and burnt me mouth when I inhaled. I've tried it a couple of times since but it's just drying up the juice. The battery itself got so hot I couldn't hold it. It doesn't light up blue at the end but occasionally shows the green light although it's fully charged so I think it's defective and I don't want to risk it burning out the atties. Hopefully I'll be able to exchange it.
It was only when I looked at the pack of 5 spare carts that I figured what the wadding was for, so now I'm not pouring juice into it every few minutes but best of all the juice isn't drawing into my mouth.
I'd say it's working for me though. I'm getting the pleasure of smoking but haven't needed or wanted a coffin nail.

Clutter, there is a learning process when it comes to using e-cigs. I have been "vaping" for over a year and I'm still learning new things. It's worth the effort though, I'm happy to see that you are off the "coffin nails".

By "carts" I mean the mouthpieces, of whatever shape I do understand about preferring a particular shape of mouthpiece though - I prefer a chunky whistle-tip style but now they're all thin - think what that will do for our aging lips Li5a ( ) just sent me some older TW 901 (don't know the difference between DSE and RN) atties which have chunky carts attached, just like the loads I bought when TECC were closing down. As for the round ones, I hated them but then came to prefer them for my GD-PT because you don't have to worry about which way they're fitted so's to have the PT's side on/off button in a comfortable position. But the older round ones, which I still have a few of, have a curved rim around the mouth end whereas most round carts have a sharp rim. Whatever, you can't grip safely with teef like wiv whiste-tips. Gawd scylla PS - I was replying to a post by MagicMa but it's been sat sittin' here instead of gettin' posted so there's lots in between her and me now

Hi Jerry,
It's probably easier for me than many because I'd only been back on the ciggies for 6/7 weeks after almost 6 years off 'em. Even so, in those few weeks I was feeling the bad effects from them :-[

I'm happy to see that you are off the "coffin nails" You reminded me, Jerry, that when I bought my boyfriend 50 Woodbines for Christmas (circa 1957?) my Dad said "That's 50 nails in his coffin". scylla

Oh, was that the roof incident? I heard them talking about it on Radio 5Live - did he survive? My stepmum won't let anything come between her and her Archers, not even when I told her there was opera for her to watch on her new Freeview telly scylla
