I've got two sample packs coming from Pure Leaf, they come in 30g packs post free so only 49p dearer than tobacco uk for the same quantity and more variety. Dave Yes defo more variety but if you prefer brightleaf, tobaccoonly does 25g for £3.50 and 50g for £5.50 and free postage. Question for frogster: Why predominantly VG and not PG. PG is supposed to carry flavour better than VG? And I had my eye on those beakers too.. Was actually looking for a glass filter funnel..

Question for frogster: Why predominantly VG and not PG. PG is supposed to carry flavour better than VG? Macca, There are many different methods, using all sorts of things, some work better than others, some more aggressive than others, some more dangerous than others. Vegetable glycerine is a popular tried and tested ingredient used to make non-alcohol extractions, it is a known glycerite, it has been used safely by herbalists for years to make all sorts of “herbal tinctures”. It has the ability to gently break down the plant cell walls and extract the true flavour, extractions that use glycerine have a long shelf life 3 to 5 years if stored in a cool, dark cupboard. It is well suited to tobaccos as it has a sweet taste and can make the sometimes bitter tobacco more palatable, without the need of other added sweeteners or chemicals! Although glycerine doesn't have the extraction power that alcohol does, it still does a fantastic job, carries tobacco flavour well and results in a highly effective product, especially for those who prefer a non-alcohol based products, and without using aggressive solvents. The method I use is gentle, safe tried and tested, it is my preference, also, I find I get the results from it that I am looking for. I have tried some of the other methods, and used other substances as solvents, including PG, but I find I get the best results from my advertised method... In a nut shell, that’s why I use it….

Thanks Frogster..I will use VG in line with your guidance.. It'll also fit in nicely with the 36 mg PG/VG 75-25 base I have which I dilute to 24mg. Make it a lot simpler 6ml of the nic base and 3ml of the extracted flavouring should give me approx 50/50 finished juice. Really looking forward to making it now..

Hi Everyone,
Pureleaf.co.uk is my company. I noticed a number of visitors originating form this site, so I thought I would pop over and see what the site was about. I'm impressed with everything I have read on here. It's all very informative. I had no idea tobacco leaf could be used for this. As a way of a thanks I thought I would post up a 10% discount code which will also add a free sample of Canadian Flue Cured to all orders that use it.

Kind Regards Joe
