Stage one of my two concentrates, fire cured and oriental, put some leaf through the coffee grinder then transfered to a drawstring muslin bag then mashed and warmed whilst mashing and I've got two jugs of dark, strong smelling liquid in fact my eyes watered a bit doing the fire cured, second stage tomorrow. What are you vaping it in Started using my tester yesterday 200ml of Le Frog-gods Walnut honey tobac 15mg and still have 140ml of concentrate left but it don't like me mini Novas. Started on a standard 1.8 head but kept getting that burnt taste and the amount i had to reduce the voltage on the Provari just killed the vape. I am currently trying the 2.8 head which is better and when that juice is finished i will try the 2.4 as all have different wicks. I have just filled a fresh Kanger cart LR bottom coil and stuck it on my riva 1100 with measured voltage of 3.8v and 2.1 ohm cart. Well, blow me ruddy socks off cause if i didn't know any better i would swear i'd just had a puff and not a vape ??? how different that is compared to the Novas is unbelievable and left me with a body shudder I want to get a Nova wick, coil sorted for this so anyone using Novas that could help because i don't like putting carts on the Provari due to bottom leakage.

It always leaves me with a “satisfied smirk” on my face after a few puffs off that! Glad you are enjoying it, and you are so right, there can be huge differences, depending on the set up you use. Maybe I should add "Walnut & Honey Delux Tobacco" to my shop.

Sorry B & E but I've only got one nova and one nova mini and I'm using those for Shire Malt and Long Bottom Leaf from epipemods. the two tobacco extract liquids I'm using at the moment are in CE4's (2.2 ohm) on ego minis or VH-E2 so more or less the same as your Riva and they are pretty good the walnut and honey is fairly close to a pipe tobacco. Thanks for the info regarding the Kangers I've never tried them but think I will. Dave

Dave The kanger was just a fresh cart to try and it blew me away literally I have standard Boge's as well so i'm about to fill that up and try. It's just that carts have there place on the Riva 1100's

Concentrate second stage done, I've got 2x50 ml of very dark liquid that smells like a strong pipe tobacco, put the bottles on a shelf at the top of the cellar steps, try some recipes next week. Dave

I'm dripping my steeped leaf tobacco mix or using it in the Spheroid, lovely vape the both . . . found it doesn't like the Vivi Nova's like Eggy, all I was getting was a burnt flavour. My friend is using an Ego Type B mega atomiser, with good old fluval foam in the tip . . . great vape with that as well.

Cleaned out my nova and tried my Cherrywood Tobacco (made with my own concentrate) and it tastes fine, no burnt taste, just got to stop it leaking down the centre tube. Dave

Nice stuff, but doesn't half gunk up a coil quick, no problem if you are using re-buildables.

I was pondering how 'mucky' the tobacco concentrate is and the amount of filtering etc needed. My thoughts went back to my Beer/Wine making days and how I used to use "finings" to clear a brew. Now I haven't researched this properly yet, so am really just after any (sensible) thoughts on using a gelatin type finings to see if it would clear the concentrate. Finings are usually natural (dried fish bladder or cows heels, still want that pint?) and will precipitate a lot a matter out of beer etc, so are safe for consumption, not sure when vaped. As I said, need to do more research yet. Was really just wondering how stupid an idea this is or if anyone has tried it.

Im quite happy with the coil catching the gunk, I suppose if any does finally make it into the vapour and is inhaled, it will be a walk in the park for my lungs to clear after all the crap I used to put in them.

Absolutely. I am just considering ways to help filter the concentrate. You'l still get gunky coils whatever.

1st steep, Burley and Canadian flue cured If one had the patience and left the mix long enough I wonder if it would clear naturally, like wine I would assume it would take months though Attachments:
