Here is a “HOT” tip for all new (and old) coil builders, of the Genny type:- Do not have your fingers on the coil / wick, with the atty attached to a mod, and accidently push the fire button…… The times I have done this…… It usually results in dropping the atty, swearing loudly and a nice little blister burn on the offending finger.

It was more a question to Macca Perps. I will be making an enquiry with The Mesh Company, Warrington tomorrow for bulk buy of #500 mesh. As far as I know no one else makes it. Maybe China. I saw some 625 mesh from China but it is a twill weave. #500 mesh is defo better, almost twice as good. Will depend on your juice consistency but it's better regardless. Kanthal, it depends on how much you want. If you really want to stock up there is a guy in the US who does 75 feet for about a fiver. he changed his user name but he's still around. Edit link added; CLICKYI wondered if he can get it a lot cheaper, or if its not worth bothering if only pennies?

When you are talking about a bulk buy, are you talking about yourself, or a group buy? I'm holding off buying mesh atm, to see where is the best place to buy.

Gas hob should be ok, but if you dont have access, then buy a chefs blowtorch. relatively cheap on ebay. Ciggie lighter is useful too. magnifying glass helping hand from ebay too.

I have every tool under the sun, but I reckon the one I use the most with ecigs, is either the long nose pliers, or the small draper screwdriver set. www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-09550-Piece-Precision-Screwdriver/dp/B0035FO4X6I bought mine when it was alot cheaper, but I still think it's not a bad price.

The other thing I find useful is a nail clipper for trimming silica wicks, much neater result than scissors

I wondered if he can get it a lot cheaper, or if its not worth bothering if only pennies? Enquiry is in progress.. We should know by this evening if it is worth it. Obviously depends on number of participants too..

Bear in mind also that 500mesh is best suited to pg liquid and will not be so good with vg .

I bought this from Tesco at 4am this morning lol Thought it would be handy coz it had the spectacle screwdriver that I can keep in my Garry Dibley tin mod to dial up the voltage Thanks to every one with the replies !
