Cartomiser Tanks

So, after 6 weeks vaping, I have concluded that I prefer the taste, draw and throat hit from a recently topped up cartomiser, but like the convenience and all day ability of a Vivi Nova.

I've just realised that there are systems that seem to offer the best of both words-such as The Wee Willie from Alba Vapours and wondered what peoples' experiences of tank cartomisers were?

I hate not knowing when a carto is going to need topping up, so only use them at home and take the Nova when out and about and at work, but the fact is that they(Novas) are very inconsistent in terms of taste and throat hit. A 'self topping up' carto sounds ideal, but I'm a bit cynical as to how they might work in practice.

Until I got into rebuildables, I swore by my lil mama tank with a twice punched boge carto in. They work very well (unless you get a duff carto)

I have never used one myself, but I know there are folks here who love the DCT from Clockworks Cornwall. I'm sure someone will be along soon to give you some more information!

As an alternative, you can get these:

which take a standard Boge cartomiser. It depends whether you prefer these or the dual coil cartos Karma has linked to.
Personally I never got on with the devices that punch holes - I prefer to just cut a couple of slots with a small hacksaw which seems to work better for me.
