Personally, I have no need or interest in any further EM discount. The prices are already good for me and as has been said earlier in the thread, I'd feel less like I was taking advantage of you Perpy, if you had a little 'sweetener' for all your efforts. At the risk of offending you, I don't know your financial situation, but would guess that an order of $1000 or so would be money you wouldn't want to lose. As far as I'm concerned, almost all the risk involved in making a group order (including people that you actually don't know!) is entirely with you. For the risk, the effort, the speed of your despatch and the pure kindness of doing it... the EM discount is yours to do with as you please! And again, thank you for doing it for us! Sean

I'm not even going to bother reading the link. Even tho' I have signed up to another forum, I can't remember which one & when I last visited it anyway.
& Perpy..please use the discount for your own benefit. You provide us all with a great service & it's appreciated.
I think this group orders thing has been discussed before on here & to be honest, as long as your happy to continue, then everything is fine.

I suppose we should all be prepared for HMRC to decide to examine and hold an order. I have no idea as to how much duty would be charged. I'm happy to take that chance, and since we all pay Perpy as soon as the order is made, she should never be out of pocket if an order goes t**s up. Hopefully that won't happen but we need to be aware of the possibiltiy..

Thank you all for your further blessings on the discount, I really do appreciate all the very genuine sentiments and am actually really touched - in the nicest possible of ways. x
We've been fortunate so far with not attracting any import duty as Lynda mentions, when that's happened to me in the past ( not for ecig stuff ) you still get the goods, but are invoiced by the carrier a few days later - so the discount would also be useful just in case that did ever happen.

I am dead pleased if the group order has meant that Perpy gets a little something out of it. It is WELL deserved for all the work gone into it. Thank you again :0)

I read that thread too and always find it intresting how vendors/sellers etc engage with the community. Not just with this sphere but in all areas. I myself had an online buisness that was part of another craft (spinning) and knew that the way I was on forums would effect my buisness. The forums and internet were the lifeline of alot of independent sellers and an active participation is the only way to make your presence felt. But I would be so careful to avoid posting anything negative or snarky under my buisness name. I would be Ms Manners and Ms Nutreal. Then I would have a personal name and go mad :0) I know I wont buy some things from these sellers no matter what they are because I have found they are horrid and pushy in thier on line presence and I dont want to support that. One good thing about small independents is we can see the human face of the sellers but that also means we can see when they arent as nice as we would like.

Awwww, thank you all so much you're making me blush with all these lovely comments. No doubt in my mind it was a team effort, so I reckon we all deserve a pat on the back quite honestly . . . . it's also more than a little satisfying to prove to the sceptics that Group Orders can be done and everyone still be able to remain the best of cyber mates.

Oh and another thing........ :0) Its sat night and I'm stuck in so I'm going to spend the evening finding things WRONG on the internet, then I will herd some cats and p*** in the wind.
Again in my other life (dyeing fibre for spinning) you find a lot of bigger independent dyers being rude and disparaging of smaller sellers just starting out saying "its an art form" and "it takes years to develop", and even the skills will dye out if not done properly and a whole load of other self serving rubbish. They then try and make the buyer feel guilted into buying their product for some spurious reason. It can get ugly real fast. Basically what they are saying is "buy my product" and not theres but dressing it up in a ton of rubbish.
Ig the arguement over on UK Vapers was about buying UK made stuff the arguement would be valid but its not. There will always be consummers who look for a bargin and will put in a bit more work and then equally and majoritively consummers who are willing to buy from local vendors because its eaiser and quicker.
