As a fairly new vaper I am doing my bestest to try and ensure that my savings on cigs at least equals my spending on e-cigs. Blimey though its tough. I now have a Tornado kit and a Riva kit so fairly sorted with the hardwear (Grrrr to you Tank atties).
But juices, now that is a whole new ball game. I can mix a minty menthol juice that works well for me but with reading all these forums I keep thinking I want to try all the flavours in the world. Out of every 10 I buy I find I like 1, 1 that is ok and 8 that taste like death. And its costing me a fortune. Luckly menthol can kill most things so its not all bad and almost allof the minty ones are good.
Is this normal? How many juices does it take before you admit that you should stick to what you know? Does everyone have a stack of juices that just the thought makes them run screaming from the room?

I've been vaping over 2 years and I'm still wasting money looking for an ideal flavour - when I can hardly taste any of them anyway scylla

You're far from alone Wot . . . taste buds change over a period of time, a flavour I loved 8 months ago and bought up vast quantities of, I now don't like . . . perhaps a break from it and I might go back to it. Failing that, I'll pop my stocks on the Classified . . . what you don't care for, my be nectar to another vaper . . . having a few bottles of flavourings to hand can also be a 'juice saver'

I've only ever had a couple of juices I didn't like. One was supposed to be French Pipe from TW but I'm certain it was mislabelled as it tasted like vaping mars bars I mixed it with a plain tobacco dekang juice & that made it vapable. The other was a free sample of ice cream float that James sent me. I didn't like the taste at all to begin with but dug it out a few months later & I quite liked it Wotsit, as Perpy says, any juices you don't like, pop them on a thread in the classified & swaps section

Its intresting how everyone "gets" a differint flavour out of the juices. I am looking for a really jucey juice and the ones I have plumped for after reading reviews dont work the same way for me. For example I am getting a creamy chew flavour from the apple rather than a sharp boiled sweet apple flavour. In other news I have mentholated my taste buds into oblivion tonight so I am now vaping unflavoured as I cant taste bugger all anywway :0)

Sorry, gonna plug James' juices again.
Grape is a nice fruity flavour, kinda reminds of the flavour of blue slush puppy drink.
Orange is really fruity & is a great morning vape.
His cherry range is an aquired taste I think. It has a very "cherry bakewell" kind of taste. So if you like those little cakes, then cherry is a must.
If you do buy from James, I think he will add extra flavour if you request it. James will confirm this tho'.
VG juices tend to be a lot sweeter than PG based juices.

Hmmm thats really intresting Hissie. I loved loved loved James lime juice but I also got the cherry and didnt like it. I could see where the cherry taste came from but it wasnt right for me. I'm so glad you mentioned it. Shortly after I had a tastebud crash where everything tasted of evil and I went straight back to menthol. Its only in the last few days I have begun to expand my range. I will try the orange and grape though. Also James has just added key lime which he said is stronger than the regular lime so going tio give that a whirl as well. I also like the sweetness of VG over the dryness of PG. You are a VG vaper arent you Hissie? And a cart user? DOes it all flow as it should? I mainly use cartos and go through a ton of juice and I think its because its thicker and Im a messy thing too :0)

Yup I vape 100% VG. Have tried PG based juices from TW & just couldn't get away with any of the flavours I bought or the watery texture.
I also only buy my juices from James because his juices are second to none & the customer service is ace.
Cartos are my emergency accessories, as I find they drink the juice & don't give as good a vape as normal cartridges. Also, I can now gauge how much blue foam filler I need in each cart to create a decent vape.
I haven't done this, but have you tried putting some juice in a syringe and dripping the juice in the carts that way? May not be as messy as dripping direct from the bottle.
Also, if you want, I could send you a couple of carts with blue foam in if you want to give that a try? If so, would you prefer whistle tips or just regular carts?

Awww Hissie thats really kind :0) Thank you so much for the offer.
I have been having a think and I am really happy that I have found away to give up smoking. In reality using cartos and refilling them is soooo much cheaper than buying fags so I am going to stop moaning.
Messy is just my middle name. I am constantly walking into walls/tables/people. I will spill everything. All pens leak on me. Its just the way I am. I do have a syringe though but also end up pushing the plunger so fast even when I try not to I still end up with juice everywhere :0)
Are you thinking hopelss case yet? Lol

No probs Wotsit, just pm an address that I can send them to. I too am very clumsy, my shins mainly take the brunt & I wouldn't even dare look in a pottery shop window, let alone enter the shop. In my experience, you get less messy with juice as time goes on, so hang in there & you will soon be dripping juice without waste

I can't help you much, since my favorite e-juice is made in the U.S. and he only ships to the U.S. and Canada.
Mrlimbo, I have yet to find a tobacco flavor, that tastes like real tobacco. I'm not sure how long you have been vaping, but most of us can't stand the smell or taste of a cigarette anymore. You may eventually come to that point too.

Thanks Perp thats very kind I think finding juice you like is the hardest and most expensive part of vaping , and i suppose at first its the most exciting , but im getting rather fed-up investing in juice that i find i dont like ! i mean to buy 10mls from alot of places ends up costing almost £10 with p&p :-[
