Smartcarts - they're here!!!

Just got the Smartcart order so I've popped a pack in the post 1st Class to everyone whose address I already know . . . just need Ckc's.

They cost me £3 a pack, then 66p each to post - I'm thinking everyone has my payment details, so hope you all don't mind if I don't mail everyone individually . . . just to save my old fingers some work really.

I'm quite impressed with these widgets so far, they do fit a 901 atty as well as the 510 quite happily, I'm using mine with the GGTB & a LR901 . . . it's working very well.

The Smartcarts come with a condom end so I can see it would be a real timesaver to have several ready filled to take to work.

Am not ever so keen on the material filler plug that they use, but it will be an easy enough job to change this to a foam plug when it wears out . . . I like them very much so far.

O Hissie we were chuntering about them on a Tank thread, you must have missed it . . . I don't have a spare pack now but could let you have a couple if that's any good to you?

Perpetua - you said they also go on a 901 atty OK? I've always found some size discrepancy between 901 & 510 kit; eg 510 carts fall out of my 901 atties. Can be a bit of a b*gger when you have the cart clenched in your teeth! (very bad habit of mine)

Has there been any suggestion these might become available anywhere a little closer to home? Or possibly in a 'dedicated' 901 version?

There seems to be a glut of new stuff to lust after just at the moment!

Ever so sorry to disappoint you Tetsab.

Bizarrely they actually fit my LR901's better than the LR510's!!!

Although they're a good fit on both, just a bit snugger on the 901 - they're better than I thought they'd be tbh, no flooding or anything like that . . . although I've replaced the filler they come with to some foam and it's going great guns.

I did hear rumour that Janty might be doing something similar . . . it's a job keeping up with it all!
