Hello all, Hope your all ok?
Just dropping in to check i have all i need to get me started and also a little more info about me.
Male age 23 i have recently given up drinking (4 weeks and going strong) i did far to much binge drinking on a weekend so decided to stop as i have started weight training and alcohol is a big no no.
I smoke roll-ups and have about 12-20 a day. So today i purchased the £19.99 starter kit from Ecigwizard. 2 x Dual Coil XL Cartomisers 2 x Drip Tips 5ml Mixing Needle Blueberry 10ml 25mg strength Minnesota Mentho 10ml not sure on strength came with the starter kit.
Is there anything more i will need or is this sufficient to kick my habit?
Cheers B

Hello mate and welcome. Some of those starter kits are very good but I don't know the one you've got. My advice is I really wasn't comfortable quitting the fags until I got an ego twist, viva nova, and some low resistance cartomisers. I disliked menthol fags, but having a menthol flavour I believe is a good thing for you. Best of luck.

It will work. You'll want another battery sooner or later. Nothing wrong with the Ego, but you'll want a spare.
Juice flavour is kind of pot luck. Neither of the ones you've bought will taste anything like your rollies of course. No reason why they should, but if you decide you want something that does, go to OK Smokey.
I don't think you'll need the syringe unless you start mixing your own juices - which is a good idea, but I'd suggest not yet.
You'll find stopping the rollies will help with your training too.
Is it enough to stop your habit? Well, I guess you know that the answer is 'no' because it depends on you, not on what you own.
The good news about vaping is that it doesn't need a helluva lot of will power, because you aren't giving up the nicotine. The bad news is that it can require a fair amount of patience while you find the right juices. Sometimes you also need to try different equipment, different ways of vaping too.
But if you persevere, you will get there.
You've made a good start.

Hi mate welcome It's a good way to get familiar with vaping. I don't think it will be enough to kick a 12-20 aday habit.

Well, suede, a lot of people have done it on a lot less than that. Me included, as it happens. I have a lot more now, of course, but it was two months before I got it, and I did so because I thought I'd enjoy it more. Which I did

Thanks for the welcome guys So i am going to take your advice and purchase a new battery. Would hate to run out whilst at work. But what should i go for? Same power, variable voltage or a laser etched battery.

Hi and welcome, i am a fairly new vaper also, i started with an ego kit and gave up cigs the same day and i was a 20 a day smoker , you can add on to what you have purchased as you go along and find what works for you. i am still buying new things and have found some which i like and others that i dont. All you can do is try, you will have days you find it easy and others which are hard, but we've all got to start somewhere. Good luck

Hello & welcome Bryson If it's this kit you have gone for -http://www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/525-ecig-starter-bundle-vision-ego-kit.html then you will need another battery straight away as you will have nothing to use while your battery is being charged. You will also need some more e-liquid fairly soon

Hi Bryson and welcome to the site, I smoked the same amount as you and I haven't had a fag since picking up my e-cig 5 weeks ago I can only speak from my experience but I found having a tobacco e-liquid in reserve really helpful, although I can't say I like the taste of it, when I really really needed a fag in the first couple of weeks it was great to be able to vape some tobacco and quench that craving, but I adore the fruit and sweet flavours too, so I started with a tobacco and a chocolate and caramel and found that worked really well for me, also as everyone else has said another battery is an absolute must, otherwise one will run out and you will be left with no e-cig while you wait for the battery to charge, imo I would get more e-liquid too, so you are not likely to run out, people really vary with how much they vape, I currently vape around 4ml a day but I think the average is around 2-5 a day, some people much more some less, good luck with the vaping once you get it right it will be fantastic
