hi
i went to sainsburys yesterday looking for the above, went into the baking ailse and sat beside the colouring and flavouring was a bottle of caster sugar ( the make) glycerin, i double checked, but because it never said vegetable beforehand, i was reluctant to buy it.
It was approx 60p
my question is, is this the correct glycerin and if so, would it be ideal to dilute some juice that is a bit soapy in taste.
Finally, how would i dilute said juice.
Many thanks

Yes, it is the right glycerine Tracey . . . Boots also sell a 250ml bottle ( with the cough syrups ) for about £1.60 I think . . . if you use a glycerine heavy mixture - you may want to use a few drops of distilled water or vodka just to thin the mix and stop it being overly gloopy.
How much to use depends very much upon your original mixture and what you're wanting to achieve . . . if your soapy juice is from whom I think it could be - I'd contact him first before you tinker, as he is replacing anyone's with this problem due to a duff batch.

thanks Perpetua
yes the juice is from whom you think! ! he does know, i was the first to inform him
thing is, i cant wait for replacements im practically out, so i thought that this would be a start with one of the bottles, at least, also, the flavourings i saw in sainsburys beside the glycerin, would this be flavourings to use in the juice? or am i well off the mark?
thanks

Ah yes, I remember now Tracey - forgive me - senior moment. You have to watch supermarket flavourings, don't get any that are oil based . . . they also tend to be a lot weaker than the flavourings supplied by ejuice vendors, so you'll need more to get any flavour. I can get a bottle of something in the post 1st Class to you today if you're desperate. PM me your address and a vague idea of the flavours you prefer if you want to . . . got to take the dog out, but I'll be back shortly.

Happy to help Tracey, please don't worry about replacements . . . I'll go pack a couple of flavours now and nip to the post office. On their way . . . I'm a bit Caramel obsessed, it's true - but for anyone who prefers Tobacco flavoured juices, it's worth having a bottle or two of caramel flavouring 'in-stock' a few drops can transform a so so tabac juice into something really rather pleasant.

Tracey it is better if you can either hang on till you receive Perpy's juice or your replacement order.
I also have had soapy issues & have totally refrained from using the problem juices, not worth it I don't think. The seller in question provides a customer service that is second to none & I can pretty much assure you that this soapy incident is a one off. I only buy juices from this seller & this is the first issue I have had.
