Are you getting juice down the central tubey thingwee Andy ( apologies for the highly technical language ) when you're filling . . . if you are, then that could be the source of your gurgling and juice taste in your mouth when you draw on it. Give it a quick blow through the drip tip after refilling, onto some kitchen paper to get rid of any excess.

You could try all of the following : having a look to see if theres juice on the battery terminal, checking to see if the head or the rubber cap is loose, checking to make sure the drip tip is in securely (if its one that the drip tip comes out of) and checking to make sure the top and bottoms are both screwed in properly. Hope this helps.

Hi Andylec.
1. Make sure the head is screwed down well and still has it's little o ring 2. When screwing on the mouthpiece hold the nova up to the light and look very carefully at the silicone cap thingy and see if it is getting pushed down on top of the wicks and spreading, if it is you will need to take it off and use a small pair of scissors and trim no more than a mil off the bottom of the cap so it sits JUST above the wicks. Make sure the post in the middle of the nova is still parallel with the sides. One of mine it got off-kilter, and then the top doesn't screw down properly on the post, and juice gets into the post, and also past the post into the top and drip tip.

I'd probably use a bit of sellotape Andy, to restrict the airflow on one of the holes . . . but I don't possess a technical bone in my body, so I'm sure there's something better. Crossed posts with your insulation tape. Have you a 510 to 510 adapter? Or a plinth, so you could unscrew it a turn or so and block the holes a little that way? Archived your thread Kev . . .
