Thanks, I suppose I will need to try and get the same resistance clearo as my CE4 which I purchsed from VIP - does anyone know what that might be? I am halfway through my first 10ml bottle of liquid which I first opened at 10.30pm last Wednesday night and to be honest I'm starting to find the taste abit bland. The throat hit is good and I really am looking forward to sampling all these flavours out there - I guess it's just hit and miss as to which ones every individual prefers...

I'd go with a 2.4 to start with Cammy, I couldn't tell from looking at the page, but you might see it written on the post, inside the tank?
Be prepared for your sense of taste to go AWOL for a day or so as well, it's normal when you stop smoking for everything to taste a bit blah for a while. Mine's gone a few times in the last 8 weeks, it usually comes back after a day or two. And your tastes will change over time too - my favourite flavours when I first quit are not favourites any more. Don't throw any liquids away - the ones you don't like now may become firm favourites in a month, and don't buy huge bottles of your current favourite as you may hate it this time next week!

You could always ask VIP what resistance they supply cammy, but I agree with dizzi - 2.4 is good. Less and you will be more inclined to burn it; more and the taste goes down.

Cammy, I don't know how much you used to smoke in a month, but at £2.50 for a spare head for a rainbow rebuildable, these do save a lot of faffing about unless you are really mad keen on fiddling about with little bits of wire and wick. I'm not knocking those that do recoil, but in the beginning it is better to keep things simple and just buy a few spares of those parts that could wear out. I'd love to re-coil my clearos. However, I suspect neither my eyesight or skills would make it worthwhile. I'm beginning to think that I can get ages out of a £2.50 replaceable head as long as I burn off the gunk regularly. I love my T3, but it needs regular attention. I do the m.v.n. once a week. Overall, a happy bunny with these clearo things.

Oh, b.t.w. cammy, I think it's great that VIP have sold you something genuinely useful for long-term vaping.

I have 7 rainbow clearomisers and I keep the same juice in each one. I have had most of them on the go for 3 months now. I have changed two heads, one base and one cylinder (that was cracked from new). I have never burned off any wicks to clean them and all of them are still vaping as good as new. I know others do burn gunk off of theirs, although I'm not sure why they would need to do this.
I've also had 2 tanks on the go for a couple of months and never had to change the wicks on these, although they both came with other resistance heads and wicks.
Although I have seen it suggested that wicks and heads sometimes last only a month or so, I have yet to see any suggestions about how long they actually do last! I must say, mine are lasting well and would hope they continue to do so for many months to come. I know that in the beginning when I only had a couple of clearomisers and I was swopping juices about between the two, that is when I burnt out the 2 wicks, but since I went on to one clearo for each e-juice, I have not had any more burn-outs. And now that I have a decent MOD and can check the resistance and use the proper voltage, I expect my wicks to last a long time.

OMG, just sampled the RY4 juice I got from vape escape. It is awesome. I've put it in a fresh clearo and noticed a bigger difference in throat hit from my first clearo which is only a week old. I have been mixing juices in the first clearo so how will I know if I've burnt the wick? If in future I do burn out a wick, and am using rainbow rebuildables is it just a case of changing the head? How do you "burn the gunk off them" - can I do this with the CE4 clearo I got with my started pack from VIP? Thats been a week since I started vaping using the tank and have probably vaped about 10ml of liquid in my first week. Is that alot?

Hi Cammy, I canny tell you everything you asked, others will do that, but, if you have burnt a wick then it will taste burnt. You will find videos, possibly on the web sites I mentioned earlier, on how to burn the gunk off them.
The head on a clearo just unscrews and comes away complete with coil and wick. At £2.50 per head it is cheap to just stick a new head on.
When I started vaping, I was going through about 5ml a day. I am now down to about 3.5 a day although I may have gone up slightly by buying a ProVari as I can now vape at a higher voltage with safety and by doing so, get through the juice faster.

Cheers lobey. Does anyone get condensation in their clearo? I've also noticed in the last day that my clearo is kinda squint, and moves ever so slightly when attached to the battery. I've double checked that it isn't the way I've tightened it and my other clearo sits solidly. There doesnt appear to be any dip in quality of my vape, is this normal? I'm using a 70/30 pg/ch juice as opposed to the pg juice I started on. Could that be the reason for the condensation?any thanks for all your tips, help and advice guys...
