Hi all, I am new to the forum and I would appreciate some suggestions.
I currently use an Ego with a clearomiser whilst at home but I am too self conscious to use this when out and about. Also I am worried about the liquid running out into my handbag.
When out and about I have been using a V2 and refilling the cartomisers but I have been having problems with their new intelligent batteries. I am looking for an alternative cigalike (2 piece) that performs well. It doesn't have to be white, it is the size that matters to me!
So far I have tried the following:
Skycig - wasn't impressed with their battery life and the cartomisers leaked Jacvapour - the battery didn't seem to have much oomph and (girly comment I know) just looks too functional Smart Cigs - don't get me started on this one but poor quality and the holes in the battery too small to get a decent drag (bit like trying to drink a McD milkshake when you turn your lungs inside out)
I know that I am sacrificing battery life but that is a compromise I am prepared to make as I am just too shy to draw attention to myself (and yes I also stand outside even though I don't have to).
I would really like a pretty, dainty kit but apart from Vapour Couture (hideously expensive) they don't seem to exist. I can't be the only girl who has got into vaping who wants something like this.
Sorry, I don't know how to use these icons so this is a very plain post.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received as I can't afford to keep buying different kits.

Hi boxoffrogs,
Just to say, decent Clearomisers shouldn't leak, I use ego compatible ones and never had leakage even when storing them in my pocket and they are full.
For cig-a-like ones I used to use a 10 motives rechargable. It was OK but the battery life was terrible (ok if you have constant access to a USB port like I do but I guess I had to charge it every couple of hours or so.) They also don't mention the carts are refillable and being a newb I bought a load of replacement prefilled carts rather than a bottle of juice. They were ok though, good throat hit and a decent amount of vapour, taste was like a tobacco caramel. Not great but vapeable.
I ordered direct from 10 motives and the cig, spare battery and 5 prefils cost about the same as my 1100mah Riva kit (which kicks the arse out of the 10 motives.)

Aside from any on the list you have tried I would recommend the Innokin AIO. I reviewed this before and I loved the powder pink color. They come in black cigalike or white with the brownish filter. My mum has one I got her ages ago - it still works - the battery is small but the PCC is small and cute too, looks and feels extremely well made and high quality. I don't sell this product I just reviewed it and it sprung to mind as a good possibility for you - I liked that the pcc looks like a cigarette box but was sleek and a nice finish unlike some other cig a like boxes/pcc's which you can see springs and things in....hope that made sense! I'm afraid if you want dainty and girly you will never get that oomph you speak of cig a likes are nice but they will never perform like an ego/riva/larger battery. I have thought long and hard about ladies ecigs and tried hundreds at this stage but it is not a good idea to get too hung up on cig a likes and the perfect cig a like for me as they are an intro in my eyes - not a way of life

Hello & welcome Boxoffrogs I was going to post the same link as Karma to the SD key ring from e-cig wizard. It packs a punch for such a small e-cig & at the sale price, you can't go wrong.

Have you tried a decent (non-tank) carto? Boge SR for instance?

I have a pair of Joyetech (VapeEscape) standard SLIM 510 batteries with 280mah. www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Basic+Vaping+Kits+%3E+Joye+510+Mega+Starter+Kitt.b.h. I WOULD NOT recommend buying as a kit (sorry VE.. > ) but I WOULD recommend buying two batteries and a charger (about £24-ish)....off the accessories "area" of the website and then using standard cartos or mini clearos. I have a main RIVA kit. Out and about I have a choice of either these minis or my JacVapour kit. The minis are good and vape just like a Riva/eGo with a carto on. They just don't last very long. To be honest, although the JacVapours are less powerful, I think I prefer them. make of all that what you will..... ??? If you are really desperate to try something different that is small and vapes almost as good as a "proper" e-cig, a mini 510 is about as close as you can get.....in fact, a mini 510 with a mini clearo (Kanger M3) is what I'm using right now, writing this post. Where are you located (generally, not your postcode! ) because I could let you try some of my stuff.

Another shout for the Innokin AIO here and you could try an SD Keyring Maxi.
Unfortunately cigalikes and other small battery mods tend to not hit very hard, I get round this by using a higher nic juice.

Just back in from work and amazed at how much advice I have received. Thank you all so much.
I think that I will be going for the Innokin AOI and I may try to customise the batteries to make them a bit prettier. Was thinking I could have a play with some nail art stickers, that would be OK wouldn't it? The outside of the battery does not get warm so I don't think they would do any damage.

The AOI is the best cig a like I have tried, but buy a second battery so that one is always on charge in the box, when I had mine I upped my nic strength for better throat hit.
