Complete Novice

Hi everyone. I have been reading the site for a few weeks now, and have finally decided that after a fair amount of research I am ready to take the plunge (an Avatar and all that jazz can wait!)

That being so, I feel the need to ask an obvious question. From the responses to moonfairy's recent post it looks like the kit that she mentioned - tinyurl.com/EgoStarter1batt - is the one I would like to go for. For entirely shallow reasons (I prefer the look of the steel battery) I don't want to order the Premium Starter bundle - so....

Will this battery - tinyurl.com/1100batt - work with the rest of the kit (I guess it fits) without any voltage/current issues?

...and...

Is there much difference between the CE4 and CE5 cartomisers (the latter of which come with the premium kit), such that I should just get the upgraded kit with 2 batteries and 2 (better?) carts?

Cost isn't a massive issue - frankly I spend comfortably more than the cost of the premium kit on cigarettes every week as it is.

Again sorry if I asked an obvious question but I am starting to drown in detail now and I just really want to stop smoking!

PPS - I should say that I only stumbled across the forum a while back when i was googling for reviews of certain suppliers - one of whom had pretty clearly attempted to impersonate satisfied customers on here and got unceremoniously (but deservedly) planted on his backside - the danger of glossy-looking websites and high google rankings nearly sucked me in, so thanks all for that too...

The battery you linked to will work fine with the starter kit you linked

I don't have much experience with CE4s etc, but someone will be along soon to help with that

Personally, I hate the non-dismantle-able clearos with a passion. So, if a CE4 doesn't come apart, I'd give it a wide berth.

I use CE5s (Vision V3) Kanger T3s and Mini Vivi Novas. All of them are great in their own way. I have a small family of them that scurry around my attic looking for fuel....(juice) and some t.l.c.

I'd imagine that the charger with the £19.99 starter bundle would charge a Riva too, but I'd email them just to be on the safe side. My Riva charger charges everything and anything that is in my box, apart from itsy-bitsy-teenie-weenie cig-alike batteries.

I use Kanger T2's as well as Vivi Novas and 2nd Dj's vote for them. Haven't yet tried the Kanger T3 so can't comment.
