Vaping for the next 5 years

Okay, I have bought a Provari and I am in the process of buying enough nic-base to last me for 5 years.

Just in case what we heard on VTTV this evening was correct and a european wide ban on e-cigs is coming shortly, I have decided to lay in some vaping provisions.

So, just supposing I had two or three hundred pounds to spend on vaping over the next 4 months, what should I be looking at that will see me through the next five years?

I don't want any fancy, shiney gizmos, I just want practical, down to earth, reliable tops, juices, whatever. Stuff I can lay aside to see me through.

Suggestions please!

If...and it's still a big If... a ban or heavy tax is introduced, the only thing they can really affect is nicotine. People will still need batteries for torches and they can't ban metal tubes or wick or wire. Flavours can be used in food so those are safe. PG and VG have other uses so won't be taxed. I personally think things like tops will still be available for those who choose to vape the new 'approved' version of vaping. So, IMO, what we need is nic base a-plenty. And as Gordy says, possibly a good rebuildable atty to enjoy it in.

..and we have had the previous commissioner leaving his post under a cloud of corruption allegations..lots of machinations going on about this..

It is just an ongoing thing that we as vapers have are highly sensitive to and we wont really know whats going to happen till next year`s MHRA consulation.

I have over a years supply of nic in the freezer too

The impression I got from it is that no one can even speculate exactly what is going to be banned, or when, but bans are coming and as financial pressure from the pharmaceutical companies are brought to bear on the EU Members, so common sense and fair play will go out the window.
The last Commissioner for this committee resigned over corruption allegations and you can bet your last drop of e-juice that he was only the tip of the iceberg.

I have about three months to lay in some equipment and "fuel" before our Nanny Bureaucrats decide that their wallets are more important than my freedom of choice.

I understand why some of us are buying in Nic Base, but are the same people also buying in Propylene Glycol, Glycerine and Flavours?

No, because those things are also used for other purposes, so they won't ban them.

Best to hang fire on this and see what happens next year, as both a vendor and a vendor this concerns me a lot but the bottom line is that if they ban ecigs they will turn a lot of vapers back into smokers, and that fundamentally goes against the whole idea of getting people to stop smoking. You would think that "they" would rather people vape than smoke.

You would also hope that there would be a huge revolt against it by the entire vaping community (unlike the smokers revolt against the smoking ban i.e f**k all revolt.)

We live in a very dangerous society when a relatively small amount of people can dictate to the masses what they can and can't do. And it's getting worse too, we need to start speaking out against this crap before these arseholes trample all over us.
