Dont know a lot about DD but the metal drip tip I have does have a metal taste to it (doh) which I dont like. Its a shame cos its a lovely snazzy lime green colour.

I thought I'd never be able to tolerate a metal driptip, always used the basic black plastic ones but had to remove them from the atty to drip because the "tunnel" was too narrow. Then I bought a goldy metal one from James to try = quite OK, no taste, and surprisingly I could tolerate the metal against my teeth. Now I'm using a coloured plastic one from Cloud9 (just to ring the changes ), that's fine too. I've seen some gorgeous looking ones @ about £5-6 but wouldn't pay that much... unless one of the new mods warrants the expense scylla

My preference Mrl, although I don't mind metal or plastic really, has to be the transparent plastic tips . . . mainly because it's easier to see the amount of juice you're squeezing down the tip.
It's another reason why I prefer the OKS bottles with their long pointy nozzles as you can get further down the tip with them.

Yes, the Cloud9 coloured plastic ones are see-thru and I partic'ly appreciate being able to see the drips dripping down then I must to Google the "widemouth" ones MrL is talking about. scylla

Just get some DTs from eastmall when the forum does it's forum order they work out at less than a pound each so you can try all the different types they have on offer. I prefer the metal ones when I'm using normal atties or cartos but use plastic ones in the clearos as they fit really good with less chance of breaking the clearo

If your using cartos MRL your best of removing the tip to fill them anyway as dripping down the centre of a carto isn't recommended.

I have a few different types and shapes and they do make a big difference in my opinion. Some are too airy, some i prefer the mouth shape. I like the cheap transparent ones from C9 because you can see if ALL the juice has dropped to the atty or not. This saves getting a gob full of juice which is not too nice. The juice staying in the drip tip is a common occurance and when you see it through the transparent tip a wee tap or blow quickly moves it down then it's vape time.

Love the look of the metal ones, but they can heat up & I've burnt my lips a few times. So I stick with the deriln ones.

Are these the ones from C9? Yes, they're on my record as "Curvy plastic Drip Tip". Just to say, they fit my 901 atties fine but do not feel quite as secure as some. The EM delrin, on the other hand, is very tight indeed. Just sayin' ... but they both work My rice is pinging, must now try to mix a veggy curry out of bits and pieces scylla
