Thats bad, I hope you have a backup device > If you purchased it outside Europe/UK you may have problems. Did you use a creditcard or paypal to purchase it? If they are rogue traders I dont see any issue about telling us where you got it.

Will give them few days to reply before I name and shame as they are known here it's only fair. (Not health cabin) I have a collection of rivas and egos as back up including a twist and a lovely member on here has posted me a v2 today and is allowing me to pay in January.

Right, finally I've heard back from them after threatening a paypal dispute - their answer? It's obviously through misuse and therefore they can do nothing about it! *fuming*

I agree, but rather you have an item that renders itself to be useless in its current state, by use of the forums social construct you maybe able find someone with the ability to repair the device so that it you can continue using it far better than to have a broken device that doesn't have the ability to be returned or repaired by an incompetent vendor.

Continue with your paypal claim , they are selling an item that is not fit for the use it is intended. I have had problems in the past with international vendors and paypal found in my favour . Paypal will freeze their account and /or take money from it to refund you should they find in your favour . I found paypal to be very helpful tbh .

I will be putting in a Paypal claim Tim, if the outcome of that is I must return the item I dont want to have wasted someones time fixing it!!! If after the claim I still lose out / can keep the LT I will either get someone to fix it - or sell it / give it for spares!

You bought a close-out V1 lavatube KIT for less then 30£ shipped. Why was it so cheap? It's junk. You bought junk and now you are mad? Paypal dispute? You used bad judgement in buying it. Close thread and walk away. Merry christmas I

Sounds like shabby treatment, though, maybe you could invite them to state their case on the forum as they're 'active' members, or at least they are most Friday evenings.

NO not been named yet, I'm not sure if there's rules on this kind of thing?
£30 is a lot of money to some people, but that's not the point - you expect products you buy to last at least a month!
I will do Paypal dispute Moon but have given them one last chance, if nothing by the time I get up tomorrow then Paypal it is!
