This is my first and last reply to this post, since only yesterday it came to my knolage!
Regarding this issue, and for the full comunitication you've sent to our customer service making several demands regarding your purchase!
First comunication from you to our customer services is demanding a UK Power plug or a EU to UK Plug adaptor, our store is located in Portugal, and we provide mainly kits and devices to the European Union, because of that, ALL our plugs are EU Type!
Then almost 1 month after, you send us one e-mail telling that the on one day the charger simply gives a POP and that the cables of the charger are completly severed, and on the next day, the top cap of the device simply came off when unscrewing the vivi nova severing the cables on the device!
We believe in coincidences, however, you must agree with me that this is in total, too many!
While unscreewing the Vivi Nova haven't you notice that the cap on de device was coming along, and how come the when unscreewing the cap were abble to completly sever the cables, that after our annalisis can only been explained by missuse of the device!
We've sold over the last year over 1000 of this kits, and that is the first case that came to our knoladge of a cap that came of completly with the cables severed !

Thank you for your input I for one will only now use venders that can be trusted to do the right thing and in my opinion you do not fill that criteria

hmm that last post from 2smok sounds like a death knell for future business from this forums members The intend of the post, was giving all the facts that appened on the comunication between the customer and our customer service! The only option the customer gave us was giving her a full refund and opening a paypal claim, she never told our customer service that she wanted to activate the warantie on the product, instead she demanding a full refund! Our warantie policy respects the europeam legislation, and if she had sended the device to us, and we detected that the problem was a device and not missuse we would send her a new device free of charge! Right sorry just seen all this. Firstly I thank you davie for your very kind offer much appreciated. Chrissie I do not know the make of adaptor (as said am away with inlaws without said adaptor) but it was a uk-European one bought from Amazon.
2smok I did not demand an adaptor be sent I merely asked whether I'd read it somewhere that you supplied these as I am sure I did. I also apologised if I'd got it wrong. I note you never even replied to that e-mail.
Secondly yes I did suggest you refunded me. However I would have been prepared to suggest alternatives with you, had you said anything of the sort in your reply e mail. And yes I then threatened a paypal dispute as it had been a good few days with no reply, and seeing as you'd never bothered to reply to my initial e mail re: adaptor I didn't have confidence you would reply to this one.
Your e mail to me was extremely rude, of course I did not sever the wires myself. I used the lavatube 99% of the time as I loved it. Why on earth would I destroy it? As for both things at once being a coincidence, yes I agree it sounds a bit far fetched. HOWEVER I am not stupid, had I been trying to cheat you I would have made up something that sounded more likely. I, however, would never actually try to cheat anyone as this is not in my nature.
Had you sent a reasonable e mail back, with your suggestions on how to sort the matter, I would have been more than willing to compromise. However you sent back a message saying it had obviously been misuse (nothing in the instructions to say I can not use a vivi nova on them, nor that I shouldn't try to unscrew them. Certainly nothing re not using a uk adaptor, therefore I fail to see how it can be classed as misuse)
Anyhow as stated this is now in the laps of paypal and I am happy to leave it there, I do not need to be fighting this whilst trying to enjoy Christmas away with family.
