Quick question guys.
Are all CCW flavours vapeable or are there some we should avoid?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks oneday, I have done some further digging and sourced an email sent to an admin on POTV.
It reads as follows:
Hi ???
They are mostly MPG based so fine for vaping, we sell loads to people for ecigs as our flavours get a lot of coverage of blog sites for vapers, the ones that are not wholey MPG based and therefore best not used in ecigs are:
Aniseed Chilli Christmas Cake Coconut Ginger Lemon Lime Liquorice Orange Pineapple Rose Tutti Fruiti
the remaining 45 flavours are purely MPG based and fine for vapes
Thanks
Alison

And I have used Christmas Cake, Coconut, Ginger, Lemon, Lime, Liquorice, Orange & Rose, all without problems also.
A flavour does not have to be 100% MPG to make it suitable to vape. Alison is an employee of CCW, Not a vaper, or a scientist, nor a trchnical person, I think she was trying to be helpful and perhaphs clouded the waters a bit.

Whereas I've used Lemon with separation problems (go figure) although as someone else posted MTS may have been a contributing factor. Shame because the Lemon flavour is delish I shall try again but without MTS. Ginger I've also used with no problems (but no MTS that time but BOY! is it strong!!).

There is no long-term studies/data on the effects of vaping. To be safe 100% from any potential problems from e-liquids- you should not vape them at all. Some people do use oil based flavours in their liquids and report no ill-effects but others report potential health concerns. You will have to make an informed decision for yourself what you consider to be safe to put into your body and what to avoid. Personally I would avoid oil based flavours which is a shame as I like citrus

Why Ethyl Alcahol, granted drinking it is bad but the heat generated from the coil should kill any badness long before it reaches the body. Personally I've never got drunk from juice, although God knows I've tried!
Edited to add: "To be safe 100% from any potential problems from e-liquids- you should not vape them at all." That sir, is genius!

Well that depends on what your version of safe is............
At the risk of repeating the information that has tried to be imparted, in a number of threads....
There is no safe or unsafe list, to date, there has not been enough study or trials done on products to say what is safe and what is not. Those trials can take years (if they ever happen).... Vaping is new. There will be no safe / unsafe list for some time… other than maybe a list that is based on unfounded rumour or personal opinion, hardly factual or scientific.
So you see, you (but not just you) are asking the impossible. The risk is that someone, somewhere says (without any scientific founding) and this is just an example,” Ethyl Alcohol is bad to vape” the risk is that people then take it as gospel and believe it. Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t, we don’t have the required proof to be able to give an answer.
Most manufacturers don't even put what is in, or been used to extract a flavour or make a product, and currently there is no regulation to make them (with regard to vaping) as the majority of flavourings are food based and they are tested under that criteria. I think most people would be surprised at how may solvents like Ethyl Alcohol are used to extract flavours, whatever the make.
So, we each must make up our own minds on what we want to vape or not, or even if we want to vape or not…. with so little “Factual” information to assist us, it is difficult. But, that is where we are at, at this point in time! We are flying without a manual, without a certificate of air worthiness, without the luxury and experience of hindsight, and without a parachute!

Any idea if any of the CCW flavours contain diacetyl? I've emailed them, no response yet.
There are many people who believe that it is a bad idea to vape vegetable oils. I am still trying to work out why.
I also use CCW ginger and coconut, both can contribute to a fine tasting blend. Doesn't mean it is good for you to vape them.

My only offering to this thread is I've used quite a lot of flavourings from various vendors, including CCW and I think I'm still alive. But it is debatable.

I've got five of the flavours on the list, either in my cupboard or on order, which dismays me a little. However, this whole "safe to vape" thing is very ambiguous, as Frogster says. Who says so? Who's done the studies? Why can't we vape oil-based flavours if it's ok to mix them with aromatherapy oils and heat them in burners for making our houses smell nice as surely we're still inhaling them? (obviously I don't personally do this as I'm a bloke and would rather my house smelt of curry and pizza) Obviously I'm not going to vape a flavour that's been mixed with anything that's been proven to be detrimental to my health, but with the lack of any long-term studies do we know that inhaling PG won't be proven to be a dangerous pursuit over a prolonged period of time? No conclusive evidence is available, as this is still very much in its infancy, so as with everything else in grown-up world, each individual is responsible for his/her own decisions as to what is safe or not. I'll vape the flavours I've purchased as I don't make cupcakes and don't want to waste them, and can't see that they'll do me any more harm than a packet of Marlboro will. I will, however, look for PG-based flavours in future, as I neglected to do this with my last orders, at least until we're told that PG shouldn't be inhaled.

Too a large extent, we're guinea pigs Moonie, as vaping hasn't been around long enough for any long term clinical studies to be undertaken into the deterimental effects inhaling the substances we do, may have. All any of us can do is make a decision given the data there is currently out there. On a completely personal level, after 36years chugging away on 40/50 cigarettes a day, I do use flavours that contain some of the cautionary ingredients, although never anything oil based . . . because I enjoy them as I did smoking. That's not to say I'm blase about the risks, because I'm not . . . but it's one of the increasingly few choices I seem to be able to make for myself thesedays. So I'm sparing in my usage of them. Other Vapers may want to avoid said ingredients with a barge pole, that's their choice to make of course.
