Well, the one I linked to above is a good fit, I have one in 3 vamos, a z-max and an argento. So well n truly tested

I should have checked it out properly before posting. I was so excited about my find I didn't bother to think first, I ordered one too (no consolation I know) mine will probably arrive tomorrow.
I realised my mistake this afternoon whilst replacing a battery for one of my nephew's toys and it slowly dawned on me that the D meant big batteries.
Truly, an honest mistake on my part, please accept my apologies.

i ordered one for my vamo and thought it was just me who doesnt bother reading stuff. no biggy tho

Don't beat yourself up about it Meli. Mistakes happen, never to me though because of course I am perfect .

I wasn't really angry when I posted, disappointed, I just wanted to make sure others didn't make the same mistake.

It replaces the supplied spring in your mod with one that allows a better current to pass through it plus it has the added bonus of collapsing if it gets too hot so it breaks the battery connection if there's ever a problem

Just arrived and installed in the Vamo, opened the base of the spring a little bit to ensure it doesn't fall out. No battery disconnection with shaking now

Thank you for being so gracious, still I feel since I managed to cover myself in so much glory I should at least try to make amends.

I have investigated this Hot Spring to death (near about) and what I have found out since speaking with various spring manufactures both here and in the US is this Hot Spring is made of Beryllium Copper (BeCu), at first I found it massively ball achingly difficult to find, and was originally told these Hot Springs can only be made to order.

I have since found out that this is not the case, LeeSpring.com have these on the shelf, they have a minimum order policy but free shipping. displayed is the spec for the springs, for 5 C size springs cost is £18.20 this price drops if you purchased more than 11 and so on.


Anyway, I hope this has helped if anything. But as Health Cabin have withdrawn the sale of their Vamo's (Bamboo's) until they have solved the spring issue, perhaps we will all be getting Hot Springs from China Cheaper.

I ordered a couple of the silver bullet ones from Ivapour elixir for £1.75 each just for peace of mind altho I did grudge the p&p seems this is the only place to get your hands on these and I'd rather be safe than sorry

Having just got my Vamo (V2 with the bigger spring) I can say the silver bullet springs are much better than the ones fitted. For the Vamo is stops battery shake noise, and has a lower resistance which can only be a good thing.
