What are you planning to mix with the basil? Strawberries & basil go together pretty well.

Have been doing a bit of mixing today too - 2nd batch ever, the first wasn't great but I have higher hopes this time:

Gooseberry & white chocolate
Blueberry cheesecake
Fig roll
Rhubarb & ginger (one of my favorite jams)

Vanilla. I once had basil ice cream which was vanilla with basil leaves in it. It was probably one of the best desserts I've ever had.

Just checked on it. 2 crushed basil leaves left in 5ml of PG. It's been steeping on the radiator all afternoon. Already turned light green and quite a sweet aroma already from it. Promising

I didnt get back from hairdressers and shopping until after 6 so pretty exhausted but will have a little mixing session tomorrow, on the menu is:

yes probably size of a vivi nova tank in length ... straight from a fresh plant. I rolled them (ciggie-like) to break the skin up so there were dark green scars. I didn't want to totally tear them into bits ... else would have to filter the juice. I must try the vodka method next. If the ejuice doesn't work, I'm sure basil flavoured vodka could be sold as an idea to Absolut :-)
