I am not either, family falling out already big time, just had a letter from my brother who is having an horrendous time and I can't get out (Spain) there to help him. feel like going to bed and getting up Jan 2013 with hopes that all the problems will be solved and we can be a proper family again. # #

I've not been in the Christmas mood since we buried my little brother on December 22nd 3 years ago it's all I seem to think about at this time of year it's hard especially with 2 teenagers who just want money so I don't even have the thrill of lighting up their faces on Christmas day anymore. Bah humbug x 1 million

I will be celebrating xmas as I normally do, but this year i also have a daughter who is 8 months and it's her first so i have good reason to enjoy myself.. I feel that xmas has been royally ****** by the retail sector and commercialism, luckily me and the missus appreciate that and just get on with it, for me xmas is a few days off indulging and being with friends and family. think it's really sad that Amazon have decided to open their xmas sale at 9pm xmas day!

No money! No snow! Couldnt afford the tree and everyone's got a tin of chocs this year. We're cooking of 12 but my mum is supplying the food! Thank god as we'd be having beans on toast this year otherwise. Fingers crossed for next year as I love Christmas and the time off work it brings

I'm afraid I'm with Jason and Blakey My mother died the end of November 35 years ago. My brother on December 23rd in 98 my father inlaw on December 21st 7 years ago and this year my beloved step mum died a couple of months ago.
In fact, just to make sure everyone feels like slitting their wrists, everything bad seems to happen at this time of year, although for the past two years its been pretty constant. Last year we had a psycho to stay and this year started with my beloved dog dying. It's been bloody awful.

I've a similar experience to Jason & Blakey, but not nearly as bad as Suede and Comfrey Will be glad when it's over. Shame really because I used to love it. Still, have to put on a happy face for the grandkids. Take care everyone and wishing you what you wish yourselves.
