All seems a bit silly, but I can live quite happily with tobacco flavours. Vapourjuice American Red and Vapology Air Cured tobacco are really nice.

To be honest these proposals bring nothing new to the table and of course we have the term 'tobacco products' being bandied around again. Vague and bureaucratic nonsense as usual. To me, it looks more like they are locking down the possibility of exporting snus.

These proposals will most likely affect the mainstream players (e-lite/nicolites/skycigs etc)...watch this space I guess

E cigarette cartridges and e liquid containing 4mg or more of nicotine will be classed as a smoking cestation product and will require a license, there's quite a lot of detail over on UK Vapers. Dave

The trouble is that article is about tobacco products so not sure why E-cigs have been lumped in with death sticks? I also struggle to understand how strawberry flavours will make people want to take up vaping, surely all vapers are ex or current smokers?
And even if people do take up vaping for fun rather than smoking... I'd have thought that was a good thing.
I'm going to stop now, hate the EU running our country anyway so I'll start getting tribal if I carry on and these idiots don't deserve my passion.

Can I suggest something that's maybe a little controversial?
Have we heard about eShish? Dave Dorn had a few to try on VT.
THIS is the sort of product that concerns me deeply, but maybe my worries are unfounded? ???
If kids are puffing away on eShish to look cool in clubs and it grows in the way I expect (fear), then how long before some youngsters cotton on to the fact that you can buy Strawberry flavour e-liquid with nicotine in and decide to give that a go? Soon enough....nicotine addiction, in just the same way I got hooked puffing on my mates smokes?
Anything that stops people starting I would put above my own needs. If we have to buy zero-nic flavours and add nicotine to them (DIY style) from regulated vendors that are licensed paying a small premium (levy/tax)...would it be so bad?
Look what happened with Alco-pops? Not great really.....

banning a flavour seems quite odd, some of the flavour concentrates can b used for cooking anyway so maybe theyll stay and just go after pre made. Nicotine strength could b a problem if they limit it to 4mg, I wonder where they got that number from anyway!

I'm hoping that common sense will sink in at some point, but this is the EU.
Common sense would dictate that if smokers are turning to vaping, even though they are still addicted to nic maybe that's a good thing. I would say the unknown is preferable to the known when the known is one of the single biggest killers in the world.

And how, exactly, do you "make your own" when you can't get hold of nicotine??
