Shopping!

Just got back myself from M&S, I hate shopping as shops are full of morons treating it like a day out and I want to get in and get the job done. Ordered all Chrimbo food online and only to pick up in store today and it still took an hour in store because of morons.. lol

We went to the local m&s this morning and they were queuing to get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so we went off to the one 10 miles away which is now supposed to be the biggest and greenest one in Europe expecting it to be heaving and it was fine.
Got my other shopping being delivered tomorrow (assuming the driver doesn't do a runner with the van like he did 2 years ago ) and what i haven't got after that we will have to do without.

I did Tescos last night at 10:30pm, got home at 1:30am. Thank god the other half waited up to pack it all away as I just couldnt face it.

Apparently I forgot the vodka Oh well, i'm sure it's not the only thing I've forgot, so will probably need to pick some more stuff up before Christmas

8.30am Christmas Eve Tescos.... fabulous!! We didn't even have to queue at the check out!
I also noticed how kind and helpful people were to me today. I had my little grandaughter standing on the shops disability scooter with me helping by getting stuff off the shelves, but a lot of things i wanted were up too high for her to get I didn't even need to ask for help. Several people just came up and asked if they could help me.
Wish it was like that in there everyday.

I always forget about that Morrisons BC. We have only lived in this area a couple of years. I have been there before, but it never crosses my mind when i need shopping. I either go to Tesco or Sainsburys at Rayleigh Weir. I dislike that Tescos with a passion normally, but i had no choice as thats where daughter was going. I was pleasantly surprised

I popped into our local Asda and it was quite busy but everyone was smiling and i didnt really have to queue long

The morrisons I use is the one in eastwood, not huge but big enough, dolly, try it they have big aisles too

We did our main food shop at Morrisons on Friday, it was busy but not too bad. Hubby has been to the local shops this morning for fresh bread and milk so that's us done.

A friend posted on facebook at midnight, she was in Asda and said it was manic.

Seems there was a queue at our asda when we opened at midnight. I was in at work at 6am and all the customers today were really nice.
One nice customer bought some Ibuprofen and gave me 2 as I had a headache, never seen the guy before in my life.
He had asked where the headache tablets were so i took him to them. On the way I mentioned my head was thumping he insisted I took 2 of the ones he bought

It must be Christmas
