I'm trying to build up the courage to go to the Supermarket. I'm sure it's going to be like a war zone with people stripping the shelves bare and ramming into each other with over fillied trollies

Mr Karma has 'man flu' so he's not coming with me to help. I'm secretly quite pleased as sometimes his 'help' shopping isn't very helpful Anyway, I've some last minute gifts to pick up and he's best not to know as apparently I've spent enough

Had a delivery on thurs night and amazing received everything I ordered , still need to get some fresh stuff but will go Christmas Eve , I like to live dangerously

I don't envy you at all!! I normally do both mine and my Mom's Christmas grocery shopping but as I am not yet completely mobile following my knee replacement I've done it all online and it should all be delivered later this afternoon

I've finished apart from a few last min bits I'll get on Xmas eve. Have bought and pre-cooked all fresh veg. Quick boil then dunk in ice water dry and freeze ready for microwave on Xmas day. It's a Kirsty allsop tip! Hopefully will work!

That wasn't too bad, and I managed to get everything I wanted at Sainsburys so didn't have to go into town

My friend's daughter opened a checkout for me, so I didn't have to queue

Trouble is on occasions like this there are so many amateurs in the supermarkets

my wife has ladyflu ,so i have been ordered to do the morrison run with a list as long as my arm i am just debating what time will be best

Went to the Supermarket at 7.30am today it was mayhem why do folk go mad at this time of the year,
shops are only closed for a day. I remember the good old days when my mother would bake all her own food
and we would all wake up in the morning to the smell of freshly baked bread, they was the days.

I too got an order on Thursday, but the Chapattis were missing.
I wonder what else I can use with the curried christmas pudding?

Was going to do the final shopping today but it is raining so hard here, I guess I will have to leave it till Monday now.

So instead, I will just have to go online and order some vaping stuff for Hogmanay.

I am in a bit of a panic. Car not fixed. OH working. My daughter is out visiting people all day and i havent got a thing in the house I am praying she can take me tomorrow. Don't need christmas dinner stuff as we are eating out, but just need usual shop and a few treats. Fingers crossed she phones later!!!

According to the wee box at the bottom of my replies, to date I have saved buying 6,600 fags and that means I have saved £2,237.40p.

Now, how much should I spend on Mrs Lobey's Christmas Present?
