If I can do it, anyone can. Although I admit there are huge numbers on this forum who smoked way more than me, so they have done better..... I can't help thinking that the habit and the intake amount of nicotine is a kind of pot luck thing. You can't match the taste of cigarettes with vaping. There are "dry" liquids which I call the "ash tray" variety that are similar in a way to standard fags. There are also liquids that have real tobacco elements, which I certainly enjoy. www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/page/wlteBasically though, the TAR-taste and SMOKE-taste of a real cig cannot be replicated that well as yet. Everyone is different. Some people immediately want to get away from tobacco flavours. Thanks, hope I've quoted right, lol. I SO don't want to get away from Bach flavours at the moment, but hopefully that will change soon. Christine thanks for the heads- up about the pink E.cig. I admit it was the colour as much as the slimness that sold it to me . I'm a girlie- girl and anything pink or bling-like attracts me. As for buying shiny things....I'm already tempted, point me in the right direction and I will be raiding the piggy bank God, I think I'm gonna get into serious trouble on here..... Off to apply for a new credit card right now! Thanks again all, appreciate all the help you can offer.

Greetings! Also used to smoke around 20 rollies a day. Also bought similar device for my first e-cig although not the same colour. Don't think you've made a mistake with this. I found it was a cheap experiment which worked. Like yourself I loved smoking but for me it wasn't the expense, it was the health considerations. Most important decision is what you choose next since if you do make a go of it, the supermini won't suffice. Generally well recommended kit is here ... www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Deluxe+Vaping+Kits+%3E+Riva+1100+Kitand to find a rollie flavour you like, try samplers before investing in 30ml bottles (Winson is good) www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=E-Liquids+%3E+5ml+Samplers

I looked...and was a bit excited But which of the 2 , vapescape or pure vapour, do you all think is best? Should I see how I get on with the ones I've already ordered, or should I jump right in and order one of the other 2 ? Did you all find it relatively easy to totally quit the cigs once you started , or did some of you cut down first? Is it a lot of faffing about with the kits, patience really is not a strong point of mine and if something is too fiddly I'm worried I might not persevere with it, so ease of use would be a bonus. Sorry for all the questions, I really do want to get this right if I'm going to spend what I can't afford, so don't want to make too many mistakes . So, what I really want is something as close to a rollie as poss, something easy and user-friendly, something with enough of a "hit" that I won't want a rollie, something with a bit of bling or pinkish, something not so expensive that I have to sell my diamonds so I can afford it. Not asking for much am I ?

I'm an ex rollie smoker who never thought would be able to quit! started off with cig-a-likes just to cut down a bit. Couldn't believe how easy it was! Your best bet to start would be the Riva kit, it has everything you need except for e-liquid! It has a 510 thread so is compatible with most stuff being sold, so if you fancy another battery at some point, a sparkly one from purevapour will work with it

Could have been typed by my very own fingers. There IS some faff with e-cigs. However, if you get into larger batteries and some system that can hold enough liquid to last, it's not much bother. With a Riva, you can use most clearomisers and/or cartomisers. Each has a benefit. If you use cartos, you may need to carry a few around with you in your case. I have a 1300mah battery e-cig by the back door. It's there all day filled with over 2ml of liquid. It does over a day, unless I use it exclusively, then I might top it up just to stop it getting too low.

Hi smokeybebe, I would definitely go for one of the kits recommended here and forget about the lookalikes. I have recently quit a 30 odd year 20 a day habit and am now happily vaping and thoroughly enjoying it. My first day I think I had about 3 cigs and by about the 3rd day I had quit completely, no craving, no drama, dead easy and I thought I would never do it, just think like you are switching brands, go for it

Hi smokeybebe , I'm slightly ahead of you having just packed in on christmas day and believe me without this forum I'd have been lost....Happy to say I've never had a stinkie for a full week tomorrow and haven't missed them one little bit....I bought myself 20 odd 5ml sampler bottles of e-juices and am still working my way through them all giving each one my own rating until I find my favourite flavour.......Best of luck to you.....

Smokeybebe, there is no need to rush into anything, just take your time See how you get on with the pink super-mini you ordered, but bear in mind there are far better e-cigs available However, if there is any way of cancelling that pink e-cig kit, do so
