This is very true Kirrielad, but I already have 15 glass bottles of 75mg nic base in my freezer, so anything that comes now will be left in the bottles they arrive in until such times as I have emptied enough of the glass bottles to decant another batch.
I have calculated that by the time my next batch arrives, I ill have anough nic base to do me for the next 3.89 years, using it at my present 24mg strength. However, I would like to cut down my mg level over the coming years and so hopefully I can stretch this lot to maybe 4 or 5 years by which time nic base will hopefully be easier to obtain.

I wrote this for the maths thread but thought it might be some use here...
For me wanting 18mg strength liquid, to make a flavourless base. i.e. just nic & pg
1 litre of 48mg would make- 2666ml of nic base using 1666ml vg This would last me 4.4 years
1 litre of 75mg would make- 4170ml of nic base using 3170ml vg This would last me 6.95 years
personally this makes the 75mg a much better buy...
*based on no flavouring and 30ml per month

Just put an order in with Nicvape, so excited for it to arrive. So is the general opinion that it is best to decant into glass before freezing? On a side note, has anyone tried NIcvapes flavourings, as I ordered a few of those while I was on?

But if buying 75mg remember to add on the extra cost of diluents.

But if buying 75mg remember to add on the extra cost of diluents. Nic base is the most expensive part of the mix. Diluent the cheapest... Nic base is what I want to stock up on - glycerol will always be readily available.

Just popped in an order for 200ml from PMS. Will consider buying some from nicvape once we've moved house in a few weeks for long-term storage.
Is there a calculator for working out how much you need on a monthly basis? I'm so rubbish at maths!!

Jen, I vape around 15 - 18mg and can go through up to 5ml a day.
so a very rough calculation for me was that I could get 3 x 100ml from the 54mg nic juice which would be 300ml so should last 10 weeks or so!

I know, I should sit down and do the maths, I'm just catching up on a whole lot of work today and wanted an easy solution. I'm kinda glad I vape lower strengths, means it'll last me longer

Is there a calculator for working out how much you need on a monthly basis? I'm so rubbish at maths!! total volume of final juice = (volume of base x base strength/final strength. e.g = 1000ml x 75/18 = 4167ml. How long will it last? = final volume/consumption per day. Say 5 ml per day. 4167/5 = 833 days = approx 2 years 3 months.

Say you use 5ml a day thats 30 x 5 = 150ml a month. so amount of 54mg nicotine base if you use 18mg is ... 150ml/(54/18) = 50ml base per month.
