LR 510 attys? Ive read on here and other places that some suppliers (not naming any names as lots were mentioned and it wouldnt be fair) had some less than reliable stock, and being on a tight budget I cant afford to spend money on something that isnt going to last the normal length of time. ALSO Smart-carts??? Will these work on my riva? The cartridges which hold more liquid? Are they any good? Where can I get them from? ALSO What is a drip tip?, do I need one? ALSO The blue foam... whats the deal here? Ive seen it mentioned and seen it sold in various places. Is it to replace the white fluff in the standard carts? is it better? why? AND ok this is fairly shameful, but ive seen you all chat about mods, I've even joiined in the competition.... but i dont exactly know what they are? Sorry for all the questions

LR Atties If you can hang on for a while, our lovely Perpy might be doing another group bulk order from EastMall. Due to the fact they draw more power, LR atties aren't going to last as long as standard atties but at only approx £2.50 each ..... Can't help you with the Smart carts as never used them. DRIP TIPS Are mouthpieces (Tips) that allow you to direct drip your attie without removing the Tip. I'm using them most of the time these days. BLUE FOAM Yes it's to replace the white fluff in cartridges. It helps the attie to wick better. James @ Paradise vapes sells it very cheaply. MODS Are basically big battery holders - many are made on a small scale by members of this & other forums, others are being produced in larger numbers like the GG's. They all have standard threads for either your 510 or 901 atties. LOL, I think I need another coffee before I try & explain them further

If you use 50/50 or 100% VG there's already a much nicer filler for the carts than blue foam! i will post pics and how to during lunch time About the mods I have answered in the comp thread, hope that helps... Drip tips are mouthpieces with a hole in the center that you plug directly ibto the atty! You then drip juice directly to the atty without the need of removing it and vape... It's a great vape you get you need one only if you are interested in trying it out, and you really should as it is IMHO the best vape you can get ! Honestly I don't really know what smart carts really are, but sure lots of people will enlighten you... And about the LR510 I can't be of much help but would also like to know where to get cheap good LR901 !

Just to confuse you even more, I have, today, received my first ever Boge cartomiser and it is the Bee's knee's. I've never been a fan of cartomisers in the past but this one is a little beauty... Probably something I would recommend to newbies, I think. At £6.99, less discount, for 5, from LF they seem like a good buy as far as I can tell. The Smartcarts were a great idea but were very fragile and don't really hold much liquid. Having said that, the M2 is out now and may be better. I've just ordered a couple of packs of cartos from LF and would be happy to send you one to try..

aww thanks lyn, but i'm trying to steer clear of cartomizers. I use them for my other cig, but the refilling when out becomes a bit of a faff (not to mention the "i look like a druggy" moment).
My little boy has regular unplanned hospital visits, and I cant be recharging OR taking forever to refill when in there with him.
Thank you so so much for the offer though! xx

Aww, dammit Lynda, I was looking at the Boge atties on LF this morning (it's taking me ages to catch up here today!) but I ordered some XL clearos from Moju instead - and I don't even know if they'll work with my GD-PT. You saying that the Boges would be good for newbies really struck a chord with me Blue - it's all very confusing these days, it was so much simpler when some of us started out 2+ years ago. On the other hand, vaping is even more satisfying now, with all the stronger "batties 'n atties" scylla

Just to add to the Mod description... Basically, they are either built from scratch or started life as something else with another function entirely (torches for example). They are then modified to convert them into an e-cig vaping device, either by companies or individuals. Most mods hold larger batteries that give more legevity on the battery (or even more power such as 6 volts) and the rechargeable batteries tend to be cheaper to buy and replace in the long run. Many are customiseable to 'personalise' them to the individual user, such as button choice/placement, colours, led colours etc. etc. That's mods really! Sean

hi! I've never really liked 510's personally but I can say that the Eastmall LR901's which I got from dear Perps were better than I ever expected and I'm still getting on really well with them. xx
