If you're ordering from James than I think the alternative I will soon present for filling the carts will please you very much as most of his juices are 50-50 or 100Vg... I read it in a portuguese forum, tried it and I'm more than satisfied !

Aldo, I'm looking forward to hearing about the blue foam alternative There are quite a few other alternatives that I know of - Fluval, tea bags & coffee filters to name a few

The thing is that with VG liquids viscosity of the juice is improved! so... it will "hang" on the fillaments of the net... what you must do basicaly is cut the net with the height of the cart... then roll it up (you can do it cone shaped so that more liquid is held in the bottom part of the cartridge... then if you think there is little space left you can remove one of the horizontal wires to shorten the length of the filler! this is still in test, and I have also tried it wrapped in aluminium paper (?? the one used to cook) so that air flow is reduced and liquid holds more to it! Advantage is that liquid won't drop due to viscosity, the "wires" don't burn and taste like burning paper, it holds lots of liquid... and that's about it! The "engineers" that came up with this idea (or so they claim) are still testing and asking for help regarding any improvements this may need! So... feel free to test it wrapped in aluminium paper, without it, with really tight rolling, less tight rolling and post your conclusions and also you can move this post to another thread if you please ! I will try to write a more understandable text later img858.imageshack.us/img858/8922/img20110329181124.jpgimg858.imageshack.us/img858/2194/img20110329181404.jpgimg858.imageshack.us/img858/3176/img20110329183220.jpgimg858.imageshack.us/img858/582/img20110329182051.jpgyou can also try doing with these things that I don't know what to call in english... it will even hold the liquid better as you can shape it the way you want

The mesh looks very interesting Aldo, although I'm a bit nervous about the tinfoil experiment . . . wouldn't that conduct the heat from a atomiser too much?
* Am working on your pictures as well to upload them to your post *

Aldo, Not entirely sure that vaping through aluminium is a good idea. I seem to recall reading somewhere that there is a link between alluminium and Altzeimers...

Perpy, thank you very much ! I think the title is ok, but it wasn't my idea really ! I saw it in another forum as I've said before! I've been doing lots of off-topic lately! I'm sorry as I'm doing lots of posts from work and always in a rush so I don't have the time to look for th best thread or even creating a new one ! o0

I haven't done the second lot Aldo . . . as like Lynda, I'd be a bit wary . . . I believe that there's been some research on the harmful effects of aluminum in deodorants.

uhm... I haven't heard of that, so I assumed there was no problem... I do recall something about aluminium intoxication in a Dr. House episode ! o0 I'll just follow your advice and stick to the first proposal, which by the way I've done with a metal net... which metal I honestly dunno! o0 by the way, does any of you know what the bridge from the Attys is made of? Anyway, I'll try to do it with a plastic, tight net! ALthough I assume it won't work as good cause it may melt or change the flavour. These ones have been great so far as it looks like you'r direct dripping almost... no burnt taste at all !

Aldo,
I also seem to have heard/read somewhere, probably on ECF, that the metal used in attie bridges might not be particularly healthy either.. If I have a chance when I am working tonight I'll try and find the link and post it. I'd be careful about using any wick that might melt. I think someone here on the forum mentioned that we should only use a surgically approved stainless steel....

Please don't worry about posting in the wrong places, Aldo - it's no trouble to move or re-title (for the other mods, that is - I lose whole posts ). Aluminium "paper" is "foil" or "tinfoil" in UK English That's so interesting, Aldo, and ingenious It might actually be worth cutting up a brand new splatter-guard to make stuffing Some splatter-guards are specified as "stainless steel", some not ??? The wire mesh wouldn't heat up nearly as much as the atty's wire wool wick. Don't know about the "bun tin" wrapper though, that's more sensitive to heat, I reckon. It does look so NEAT! scylla

Good idea mate but i dont think its safe either.I am just happy to be away from attys, carts and filler of any kind.I would be very careful using that stuff as a cart filler, get some blue foam instead. If your VG juices are to thick then thin them with distilled water or my favourite is vodka.Works a treat.
