I would say its terrifically better now i've had a chance to try it Chrissie... The original filler and the white fluval type stuff i bought both seemed to run out of juice very quickly, but when i took it out, it was still very wet, but the black stuff seems to last much longer and its dry when i take it out to refill

As I use the Fluval "sheets" and wind them around tweezers (when I use anything at all), I can't compare. We all seem to be using different varieties. Hope you don't have to waste too much before you hit the sweet spot scylla

I too use Fluval. I cut a piece approximately twice the width of my cart and roll it gently between my fingers until it's narrow enough to push gently into place. I then cut the excess from the top of the cart. Works for me.

how often do you change these fillers. i too have the fluval sheets but find after a while they only take 2 drips and there full to the brim, obviously there full of juice but it wont draw up to the attie unless you top up, then they seem a bit hard to draw on. i get no juice into my mouth though. am i getting right do you peeps think. ragjoy..........

The stuffing should be changed when it goes brownish, but you can wash it and dry it on kitchen paper (some people do that, you know ) As for the other "issues", now you know why I drip scylla
