Hi firstly can i say what a great site. So now down to business. After a failed experiment over 12 months ago with an E-cig (wisekick) ....which frankly even the strong cartomisers were like sucking fresh air... I have decided to give it another shot. I tried a friends Skycig and was shocked at the difference between my wisekick. But i have read lots about Skycig battery life, reliabilty and customer support..or lack of. Im a fairly heavy roll up smoker and really dont know where to start. Im possibly looking at the "Viva La Riva 1100 kit." But i'm open to other suggestions. And yes i do appreciate that its all subjective. I'm definitely looking at refilling and i work 12 hour shifts so battery life is important. So.... Is the 1100 a good choice. Are there any spares/accessories that i may need (apart from e-liquid obviously) bearing in mind i'm looking to refill and want to purchase everything i need to last a couple of months? Thanks in advance. Welcome, l use the Riva 1100 and i quit after 41 yrs of smoking upto 40 a day of normal ciggy's so you sure can do it this way, if you go with the riva you will need to buy spare clearomiser's and wicks and that way you can have half dozen on the go if you want and you get 2 batteries as you work so long shifts personally i would buy a couple of spare battery's and keep 2 charged overnight and carry them with you as you REALLY don't want to have flat battery and loads of juice. l use Vape Escape as they always have at least 10% off and l think they might have bit more off at mo not sure check them out and see, their customer care and reliability is second to none, let us know how it goes oh and one other thing don't try and swop over instantly build it up gradually you will know when you prefer e cig over real and don't try and hurry it or you will fail, if i can be of any more help pm me and Good Luck

Thanx for the welcomes all. Thanks ripple27. Yes I need to research more especially on the part about wicks. I had no idea what they are for. So am I right in thinking that each clearomiser needs a wick and e-liquid and I can then carry round a variety in case i'm in the mood for a change during my shift? Also are there good/bad clearomisers. Are there compatibility issues etc. From what I have read up on so far, lots of things seem interchangeable between different products! Sorry for all the newb questions. But its payday tomorrow, so hopefully I'm gonna order and try to get next day delivery for my night shift starting on Wednesday.

Don't worry about wicks at the moment Davey, anything linked to above comes complete and ready to use minus juice The most common connection is a 510, again everything in the links above are 510 compatible!

Hi and greetings from another newbie! I purchased the VE Riva 1100 kit and have been merrily chugging away on it since last Wednesday. I'm a cig-a-like convertee too after joining this forum. I am extremely happy with it, so easy to use and can thoroughly recommend it for a 'beginner'. You'll get all you need to get up and puffing straight away in the kit. Sorry that I can't offer any technical advice. I'll leave that to the other more knowledgeable Techie boffins here. Good luck and enjoy! BTW, Vape Escape are offering a 12.5% discount until the end of the month as opposed to the usual 10% that you would use here. It's NEWYEAR and you apply it at checkout.

I love my Riva kit, what's left of it.... I just wish I knew where the bonus "Viva la" bit came into the equation. Oh - UKecigstore....I see. Google is my friend. I'll let them off.

Good luck Davey.
I'm really new to vaping and (aside from a major fall off the wagon on my second day) have been off the rollies for 4 days. I also have the Riva and it works a treat !

Hi Davey & welcome
I got the riva kit from vape escape 3 weeks ago and within a week was ordering a second for my wife.
I have no doubt you will enjoy it and in my experience the service from vape escape is second to none.
