Reet! I'm loving my vamo particularly the vw bit but your all absolutely correct in advocating the purchase of a backup device . I'll have I reckon about £40.00 to spend, all I need really is the body ( think that's right, got charger and batts and clearos) Ideally I'd like something that also has vw and perhaps a bit different to the vamo. Perhaps even a little unusual. At 11:30 am on the 16th I'll have gone two weeks without a cigarette. I just can't believe it. The longest ever since I started at thirteen. I really haven't found it that difficult to be honest, getting the right kit has made it a pretty straight forward. I'm so glad I stumbled across this forum and its unique acronym I'm sure you'll all point me in the right direction for my backup device. I have full permission from my impressed other half so no need for ninja skills ( well for the body anyway, juice, tanks and other "essentials" may still require extreme stealth) I'm looking forward to your suggestions so I can get on with geeking out! Thanks again everyone. Chris.

Another Vamo, you've already got the batteries and charger ( you have got spares of these haven't you?) Do you really need another VV, as it's only emergency backup why not something like an Ego-t or similar, then you can spend the £40 and sneak some other bits into the package

Unfortunately there is a monumental problem with back ups!
What do you buy as a back up for your back up.
Then there will needed to be a back up for the back up that is a back up for the Vamo back up.
I have 5 back ups for my ProVari with another two on the way, "just in case"!

Backup for "backup" or backup for a top vaping experience? Personally, I'd go with www.safercigs.co.uk/eGo_Mega/cat705284_1614316.aspxNo VV/VW, but in other respects what more could you ask for. 3 piece unit, all pieces replaceable. I have a mini lavatube from the 'Wizard. If it lasted long enough, I might even take it out the front door one day..... :-[

Having said that only 2 are VV, so the rest are basically all the same to me. except for my JacVapours, which are lurking in the cupboard under the stairs.

djs - I recently bought a Joyetech mod as you linked, its really good. Nice balance and has the two voltage settings 3.3 volts and raw battery voltage. Love the feel of it and button operation. If you do not need VV as a back up then this is perfect in my view. £20.73 all in delivered and includes a Joyetech 2200 unprotected battery which is a respectable battery, not the best but is better than many you could end up with. I suspect it is is a samsung battery...will stand corrected though if anyone knows better.

Have a look at the mod makers here and at UKVapers. They produce cracking stuff. Garry Dibley being one of them.

If you have two 18650s and want something different, get a Garry Dibley tin mod.
