Hi! from another relative newbie. I've been using my new Riva 1100 for nearly a week now and I love it. I wasn't fussed on the clearo and use the cartos mainly. I bought some low resistance cartos as I too smoked Mayfairs and find that they give a better throat hit than the standards that come with the kit, if that is what you got. HTH  |

Hi Kitty!  Another newbie tip that I didn't know about when I first got my kit (only found this forum afterwards) is that you don't 'draw' on an ecig like you do on the old stinkies - you need to draw slowly to give the juice chance to vapourise. Ask as many questions as you need to. I've asked a few myself, but the folks on here are really helpful and friendly. Good luck, and happy vaping! StS |

Thanks everyone!! I am loving vaping so far!! Filled a couple of the cartos using the condom method, success on one but not so much with the other... maybe didn't use enough juice  Plus the VE sampler for chocolate and caramel seems to taste more like peanut butter!! Also tried out the clearo with some vanilla... that's what I'm sticking with for today, it's fab! |

I think you should consider getting some juice in the 20-24mg range if you have troubles. I used 24mg in the early days. Now I just vape more often.... |
