Gorgeous pics Scylla - you are such a clever techie person. I have enough problems using my idiot's camera to take a pic, upload it to my pooter, and manage to send it for printing! Even I think I am stoopid when it comes to 'simple'! :-[ The birds that come to my garden every morning - and into the house if I am not quick off the mark > - are costing me a fortune in seed, sultanas and breadcrumbs. I could afford M&S ready cooked super-dooper meals if I wasn't spending so much keeping this lot going! I regularly get circa 60-80 birds daily - several times daily in fact - who are now bringing their babies! Alfred Hitchcock scene or what? The robin was on my kitchen work-top this morning.

Paradise, Hanow Hanow! Re my pics!! They're merely screen captures and I've been trying to find "picture improvers" cos the resolution of that cam is so bad. The "golden dawn" one above is the only one that's reacted well The dark one of {{{EJ}}} was dusk-time, it seems to be the best time of day for the cam. P x

Just checked out our eagles, who could be fledging in a week or so The lens is smeary, unfortunately, and two of the kids are asleep - the other is preening, it's difficult to catch it so's you can see what he is Oops, can't imagine how a PB file got there when I selected my hard drive ??? I'll have to do another post.

I've been watching the two bold ones - one flapped up and further along the branch earlier but then walked back down again. I reckon you're right Scylla, the little 'un just can''t quite pluck up the courage to join them. Super sight - I don't think it will be too long before they fledge. Fox And then there were three:

I was pleased to see all 3 at the same stage today. Your pic, thank you Foxy, shows them more adventurous than they are at this moment, being further up the branches The ospreys waited a longer time than usual for a feed this late afternoon, which, along with the down-ness of the RSPB forum, created loads of anxiety among fans (= me but others too). I have a video of the eventual fish delivery, will post later, it's uploading. The opspreys at Dyfi, Wales, are in an estuary and have access to huge fish compared to our Loch Garten family scylla
