Youre using them correctly but it depends how far you want to wander both flavour and strength wise, I think those two constraints are far more importang than the vg /pg ratio, especially as were only talking 3%. Adding so much water only adds to the confusion if youre trying to balance a bad mix. Best bet is to have a bottle of each typ of nic and depending on youre ratio requirements you have all bases covered, even using water. Cool. I don't need to worry about flavour at all. Can't taste anything, lol. Is mainly the fact that my Mrs likes the smell and that seems about the same at 10 or 20% I usually vape 18-22mg so took 20 as an average. Not been happy with 70/30 in some of my clearos but tried some 50/50 that I bought a while back and it's a good vape. Am also too tight to throw away the 70/30 that I already mixed, hehe. Cheers for the help, was more of a brain teaser than a serious life or death situation.

What does water based flavour count as?
Do you regard it as VG (after all we dilute VG with water)? If so, your current mix is actually 65/35 and if you make the next 10 ml with VG instead of PG dilutant & mix them the result will be 51/49.
If you count it as PG then your current mix is 75/25 and skwoddy's figures apply.
If you don't count it at all then your current mix is 72/28 and the 20ml mix would be 57/43
How about you forget the math, make 10ml with the VG, then mix not 10+10 but say 3+3 and see what it vapes like?

Its all good, I enjoy a brain teaser too, but honestly think you would have had to make about a litre to make your original mix catch up, and even then you would have still been 3% out.
3% can make a world of difference on some flavourings though, were all learning still.
Thx

If you want to really complicate calculations start using mini scales to mix ( much easier to weigh than measure volume) but you have to take into account the weight densities of the liquids. Really confuses the issue even more and not something to do when sleepy late at night. Question... Does anyone know of a mixing calculator online which uses or at least shows actual weights? I did come across one on a vendors site but can no longer find it. From memory, it compensated for the weight/mil of PG and VG.
