To last longer batteries just have to be bigger. I believe Nicolites have 510 connections, so they will connect OK. Bigger batteries are better and (in the long run) cheaper so I suggest you get one if only for use at home. Something like www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151 would be good, and give you a chance to try a clearomiser, which is less fuss to fill, you can see when it is running out of juice, and (a lot of us think) tastes better. While you are there, you might like to also buy a couple of these www.vapeescape.co.uk/empty-needle-cap-bottles-%2A%2A10ml-%26-30ml%2A%2A~325 which make filling things easier.

Hello & welcome Spikeyfridge For starters, you can refill the Nicolites cartomisers (filter thingies ) with the e-liquid you have bought. For a longer lasting battery, you will need to move away from your e-cig looking like a real cig, would that bother you?

Welcome Spikey Well done for the 7 days!! And if you're willing to listen to the advice you'll get on here, they won't steer you wrong. I got here the same way. I'm just starting out, exactly the same as you, don't know what a 'heavy smoker' is but I'm sure I am close. I'm not qualified to give advice, but I know I couldn't have carried on with the basic e-cig personally and not fallen off the wagon, if fact I did, but that's just me. I took the advice given to me on here and feel more optimistic about beating the cigarettes for good than I ever have. Hope you stay.

bitten the bullet and ordered the riva 1100 deluxe all singing all dancing kit. cant wait. my nicolite is on charge so i'm chewing my fingernails and pacing a trench into the carpet ! i'm planning on vaping for 6 months then kicking that habit unless i get hooked on the fruity juices cos they do sound rather nice. as an aside about packing in the 'stinkies' my tongue is now a healthy pink and my teeth seem to be cleaner and less stained thank you for your advice and giving my a kick in the right direction

Have you quit with nicolites? If so, be careful......it's a slippery slope. I suddenly realised (in the middle of the night, actually) that I'd pretty much killed off my tobacco habit with a very basic e-cig. Not the E-Lites one (no, that would be impossible.....not nearly enough nicotine) but the JacVapour version. Back then I was using less than 1ml of e-liquid a day and getting on just fine. Now, I've got posh e-cigs and clearomisers, use twice or three times as much liquid and get all "fussy" if I don't have enough vapour or the flavour is rubbish. I'm beginning to think that although I've had a lot of fun, I've probably upped my nicotine intake too much and if I had to go back to cigarettes or NRT I'd be in a right mess. Funny how things work out. If you have quit with Nicolites, good for you. I can't honestly believe they can be giving anywhere near the amount of nicotine you used to "take"...unless you were on ultra-lights. If so, well done to you... please don't rush into anything.....is what I'm saying, I guess.

You've bought! Like I said.....I planned on vaping short-term but I've messed up that by going for "more-than-a-RIVA". Honestly, if you are set on quitting altogether, try not to get carried away.

i'm giving the ecig about 6 months then will pack that in too. its the throat hit and the hand to mouth habit i find hard to break. maybe i'm sucking the nicolites too hard but they arent lasting as long as they say they do. its a good throat hit and as long as i have that, i should stay off the proper ciggies
