Vaping ??

That I haven't Really giving up anything !
I've still got all the habits of a smoker still dependant on having a puff & the nicotine in that puff.

I suppose its healthier for me,my lungs are hopefully clearing & I don't smell like a Ashtray.

P.s I'm enjoying vaping but I am seeing it as a healthier lifestyle.


I'm just looking for other peoples opinions

i do it for health moblee,and some days actually dislike vaping but i feel so much healthier i carry on,in fact id put myself in the ive never found a juice i can actually say i love category ,it stops me smoking and thats what i want

Hi moblee. I was a smoker for 46 years enjoying and savouring around 25 - 30 rollies a day, thought it was absolute heaven and defied anybody that said anything about it. However last October I was contemplating , as you do, when you're advancing in years, and decided the time was right FOR ME to knock the dreaded weed on the head. I didn't need anyone telling me how bad they were for me etc,etc,etc. I had used NRT patches for 8 weeks and decided I missed the hand to mouth action. While doing the weekly shop in Tesco I decided to buy a rechargable Nicolite and thought yes. this is for me. I now have 4 of the small e cigs but getting so frustrated recharging all the time that I am getting a larger battery when Jason takes delivery of new stock. I also got soooooo fed up of the cartriudges running out after a couplke of hours and thinking, my god I've never smoked the equivalent of 20 fags. Well as I have learnt from reading on this forum, that statement leaves a lot to the imagination. Well I digress, Yes you are leading a healthier lifestyle and yes the nicotine may be addictive but e cigs won't kill you like the 4000 chemicals in the stinkies could. You will smell nicer, as will your clothes. Your lung capacity will incrfease over time, your taste buds will wake up and yiu will be an entirely different individual who is enjoying vaping and can do so practically anywhere you blooming well choose. Carry on enjoying vaping, I looooooooove it

Hi Moblee, I was a smoker for over 48 years and like a lot of folk when the price of fags
started to get ridiculous changed to rolling my own. Have been a asthmatic all my life
and other chest problems. I tried all sorts to stop the fags nic patches, gum. cold turkey
nothing worked for me, until I was introduced to an e-cig haven't looked back
that was nearly 3 years ago.

Healthier. Less smelly. Less expensive. Less of a fire hazard. More variety in flavour. What's not to like?

From memory that is not too clever these days, I think my first smoke was in Primary School. Me and two mates up the old brickworks, sharing a Capstan Full Strength between us while coughing our guts up and thinking ourselves to be Real Men. We were 6 or 7 years old.

I know I was hooked on fags by 16 and I am 66 now.

I stopped drinking 26 years ago and I have been trying to stop smoking for the last 15 years.
Tried everything with successes varying over 3, 6 and finally 18 months, but could never stay stopped.

I agree with most of what has been said above.

Personally I see very little difference between THE NAMES Vaping and Smoking.
Yes there are differences in the actions, but both are only different means to the same end. IE, The intake of nicotine.

Other Vapers, members of the Health Community etc, are, without any research or rulings, are making up their own minds about whether vaping is a form of smoking or something else altogether and I can see this rumbling on for long enough before a ruling is brought out, possibly in law, as to whether a Vaper is a Smoker or not.

Although I personally consider my self a smoker, I will continue to Vape my nicotine for a number of reasons, most already mentioned, but really because it suits me to do so.

As to favourite flavours, well I don't really have any except one which I make myself and I get the most pleasure from that one when I vape it in a GP Spheroid on my ProVari.

Same as you moblee, vaping made it easy for me to give up the ciggies after 28 years, as in my head I wasn't giving up just switching to a healthier alternative and gaining a whole lot more...including more time not having to roll 20 or more a day!!

I love everything about vaping and know deep down I'll never go back to smoking unless they were banned and taken off the shelves...fingers crossed that never happens!!!

I've just noticed that on my sig box that as of today I have avoided 8000 fags.

I noticed in the shop this morning that the fags I used to smoke now cost £7.02 for 20.

So as of today I have saved £2808.00.

I had better not tell she who must be obeyed or she will be jetting off to the sun tomorrow.
