E cig virgin!

Hello everyone, i just found this forum and i reckon its exactly what i need

I have just started researching e cigs as i just have to get off my 30 a day roll ups, my health is really starting to suffer. I have tried stop smoking classes, patches, lozenges, gum, zaiban and cold turkey. The longest i ever stopped for was a week.

From everything i have been reading, i reckon e cigs may be the way forward for me though i know very little about them - hence joining this forum

I feel i have to strike while the iron is hot, i feel very positive about the prospect of changing to e cigs so i am looking pretty urgently for a good starter pack. Trouble is, there are so many, i currently have a zillion tabs open and i am getting extremely confused!

Anyway, this looks like a great place for me to find out more and get support, i will no doubt spend the rest of the day reading the info on here, i am hoping to order a starter kit tomorrow

Firstly, does it matter to you if the e-cig doesn't look like a real cig? The ciggie lookalikes have very poor battery life & I doubt they would cut it for a 30 day rollie smoker.

What Chrissie said and Welcome to the forum.
Look-a-likes may look the part but vaping isn't exactly like smoking so if you can free yourself from the look-alikes and then a whole world of vaping opens up to you.
Non look alikes can have much better battery life and be a lot more powerful than look-alikes and give you a lot more options to pick and choose depending on your mood.

While vaping is different from smoking it doesn't mean it's worse.
Far from it IMHO.
