Welcome to the forum and I think you have made the best decission by not being fussed on the looks of it. As others have said it opens up a whole avenue of choices.

Ego tank kits are a good starter. Good prices about now and they are easy to maintain. If you like them then think about having a go with some other more advanced kit.

I used the liquid that came with it, it was 10ml of 24mg Marlboro flavour quite harsh.

(I'm quite new here myself) So I don't know if you're allowed to name names ? But I get my Liquid from Puffin uk I think its fairly cheap plus no postage costs

Welcome Cas... I was a 30+ a day roll up person too. That was 12 days ago when my Riva Kit arrived and i havent wanted a roll up since... As mentioned by Chrissie the Riva seems to be out of stock pretty much everywhere. Probably after all the recommendations on here. Anyways Vape Escapes own range are really good for us newbies. I know you mentioned about tobacco flavours, i was of a similar mind. Now im hooked on all sorts of flavours, banoffee being a fave!! BUT i do always need to start the day with a tobacco tasting one first off. Probably just an association with a routine.. ie Wake Up, Boil Kettle, smoke rollie...
Good luck with whatever kit you decide on.. But please be warned. These forums are way more addictive than tobacco

Also if your in the mindset do give this a go and dont mind paying £5 extra you can always select next day delivery IF you order on Monday before 2pm. Then you know you will have it by Tuesday morning I always do this and get it to work. Reception knows when I have vapemail hehe, Our receptionist lady is even tempted at giving them a go as she is a heavy smoker.

some good advice you've been given , my view is the riva is best all round for a beginner......... ok it dont look like a real cigarette........... but the battery life is miles better than a cig-a-like

I was torn between the Riva and the one Moblee recommended and went with Moblee's eGo CE4 900mah, i think it was his wife saying he doesn't smell that swung it for me

I also ordered some 5ml sample bottles from vape escapes so i can try various flavours, i cant wait for everything to arrive now!
